Beautiful property located 10 minutes from Ortigia and the city of Syracuse, best to have a car. Grounds are impeccable and you can easily spend your days by the enormous pool. Breakfast is great and staff is pleasant. Rooms are super clean we smelled the cleaning products as we walked in. Air condition unit seems to need some maintenance, but still worked. If you are looking for great beaches and have a car, this is the place, within an hour or less you are at the isola delle correnti (southern most point of Italy) or San Lorenzo beach and Fontane Bianche all beautiful beaches. Recommend to anyone looking for places to explore or to simple soak up the beautiful weather on this pristine property.

Beautiful, but not a great location
We chose to stay at this hotel because it was just outside of town and had a pool. The ground of the hotel are beautiful, and the pool was perfect in the extreme heat. My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. There is no public transportation, and it is very difficult to get to any of the nearby beaches on foot.

Could have been better
Having booked late, the only room available was not in the main hotel. It was clean, tidy and spacious but, we think, little used. The smell in the bathroom from the drains was awful until we ran some water in the shower room to fill the u-bends in the pipework. Because we were not in the main building we had no Wi-Fi in the room. The staff were attentive and helpful, the pool area was busy at the weekend with locals but otherwise very quiet and peaceful.

Lovely villa
Nice and clean, large room. Ground floor. Breakfast good. We went in April so there was a lot of work going on outside to pool and garden area.

Perfect hotel provided you have a car
We loved the hotel, the staff, the pool. You will need a car as the hotel is 5min south of Syracuse but worth the drive to be in a so relaxed hotel. Breakfast was perfect, the only down side was the tv had no english speaking channels but I told this might be fixed for 2013. Francesca was a great help with lot's of local information. If you want a pool this is a A1 pool and with lots of sunbeds and couches around the pool. Enjoy

Väldigt lyhört och oljud från vägen utanför. Framgick inte att restaurangen var stängd vilket medförde ett långt letande efter andra alternativ. I övrigt bra.

La piscina risulta essere davvero al top per l’ alternanza con il mare ! Non risulta sempre caotica nonostante sia ad uso anche pubblico. Per il posto risulta lontano dal centro di Ortigia ma comodo per riposare , le camere sono accoglienti e climatizzate ( unica nota il bagno da rivedere alcune cose nei sanitari ) , reception personale accogliente e disponibile , in aiuto nel caso hai bisogno di emergenze ! Colazione cosi e cosi : molti prodotti surgelati come brioche ad esempio e mi aspettavo delizie del territorio ! Piuttosto fai pagare qualcosa in piu’ ma mostra i prodotti locali del posto ! Comunque tutto sommato ottima esperienza

Lugar excepcional en relación calidad precio y per
Acogida excelente por parte del personal, en especial Giuseppe, que se preocupan para que tengas una estancia maravillosa. Lugar muy acogedor y tranquilo, con una gran piscina, ideal para niños. Muy cerca de la playa y de Siracusa.

Sehr gutes Hotel außerhalb der Stadt
Sehr freundlicher Empfang inklusive Infos über die Stadt und Stadtplan. Relativ großes Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück. Sehr gutes, sicheres und kostenfreies Parken. Außerhalb der Stadt, daher nur mit PKW zu empfehlen.

Relax, in un contesto mediterraneo curatissimo!
Ottima accoglienza, personale gentilissimo cortese e professionale, una bella struttura immersa nel verde curatissimo tra olivi e palme, una piccola oasi di relax in un contesto di cura e pulizia, la prima colazione buona e abbastanza varia compresa spremuta di arance fresche , una chicca; un posto da tenere alta considerazione in considerazione.

Villa antica ben ristrutturata inserita in ampio parco a parati ed ulivi con grande piscina a disposizione degli ospiti. Camere spaziose, luminose e pulite. Colazione varia nella norma.

L'albergo è delizioso: si tratta di un immobile antico ristrutturato ed adattato, con livelli di finitura ricercati e gradevoli. Gli spazi esterni, oltre alla piscina, sono molto curati e invogliano al relax. La struttura è distante dalla città, quindi è obbligatorio avere l'auto. Ma vale la pena: il silenzio e la quiete ripagano ampiamente, per non parlare di un cielo così ricco di stelle (per gli astrofili) che in città non è possibile vedere. Ottima colazione, il servizio in generale è perfetto, il personale è affabile e simpatico. Ci ritorneremo.
