The apartment is located in a central and served area of ​​Syracuse and is only 350 meters from the cycle path and the Latomia dei Cappuccini. At 2km the Archaeological Park and the Stunning Island of Ortigia, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005 and included in the World Heritage List. Just 4 minutes by car you can reach the beautiful island of Ortigia which is the beating heart of the whole city: just a square kilometer and yet an enchanting treasure trove of treasures and natural beauty ready to amaze you. Temples, castles, ancient aristocratic houses and baroque churches determine the charm of the small island dedicated to Artemis. It is pleasant to get lost in its alleys, in search of rare atmospheres lost elsewhere and which are perceived even more alive than ever here. Ortigia strikes precisely its human dimension, its tranquility and in its small but intoxicating market resides its soul. The rental was nice and roomy with lots of windows, comfy furniture and a gorgeous big deck. However, the overall cleanliness especially in the kitchen, was awful. The kettle was rusty inside, the iron was corroded, the dishes were not cleaned properly, there was grime on almost everything…dirty microwave…I’ll stop there.
