Cops and cursing

Pulled into the hotel to be welcomed by four cop cars. We were checked in by a Couple kids who seemed like they couldnt be more miserable. We left for about 10 minutes, when we came back a different woman who worked there was at the front door cussing a guest out. We quickly went to our room to find it not much better. The wall paper was staring to peel from the wall although the room looked somewhat clean and decently appointed. The bathroom was sorta clean, but my girlfriend was able to spot hair on the floor and bath tub area. The sheets and pillows were kinda rough but for the price i guess its about average. The breakfast was ok and clerk in the morning was better and gave 20 off the bill when we checked out after only 1 night of 4 planned.

Cons: The cleaning staff needs better supervision and better training
My overall experience was not very good, cleaning staff did a lousy job cleaning our room, Management wasn't very helpful, evening staff was very good and very helpful.

Basic off- interstate bed for the night

Honestly ? Paid a low price so wasn't expecting much. Room was dirty and worn. Window was tiny and looked directly out at roof vents and bright lights from hotel sign. Did not want to walk in room with bare feet - carpet and bed spread were disgustingly stained and dirty. Staff were very polite and professional ... But property has seen better days.

I am truly sorry that you had a not so great experience .We just had the carpets cleaned about 4 weeks ago and if yours wasn't right or your blanket was stained we would surly have given you another room.

Nice hotel, close to shopping and restaurant.

Pros: Nice area for Breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom could be updated.
Location: Close to highway, shopping and restaurant.
Hotel was clean and the price reasonable. The bed very comfortable.Pleased with overnight stay.

didn't know it was homecoming week

Pros: Great staff, poor accomodations.
Cons: the room could be cleaner.
I'll start by saying the staff was friendly and helpful and I have nothing bad to say about them. I was stuck taking a smoking room to get a king size bed, not knowing it was a big weekend in Syracuse. The entire 4th floor stunk of stale cigarettes as did our room. The bedding had stains and cigarette burns in it. The bathroom floor was sticky and just felt unclean . When I ask the desk clerk for a lightbulb for our room she had to go to the diner and take a hot bulb out of a light fixture and gave it to me wrapped in a rag. She was great, kudos for thinking on her feet. Then there was the air conditioner that sounded like an idling semi. Around 1:30 am we were woken up by drunken partiers outside my door. When I finally called the front desk around 3 am they were quick to respond and promptly spoke to the revelers. Then we listened to doors slamming and hollering until around 4 am when I called downstairs again. Needless to say it was a really long drive home with no sleep. I would probably not recommend this hotel any time soon, but was informed by the staff that remodeling was in the near future.

All that I can say is SORRY! I feel just awful about anyone having to be in a smoking room especially a non smoker.

Pros: The location was very close to the exit off from Interstate 81, made it very easy to get on and off to visit my brother in the VA Hospital in Syracuse
Cons: You need to include in your guest book a list of the TV channels and what they are....spent a lot of time trying to find certain channels I watch.
Location: We went to Dinosaur BBQ for dinner and it was just 5 minutes away.
You need to spray for spiders, I killed 1 brown spider and 2 black spiders and I noticed cob webs on the ceiling tiles that should be vacuumed off.

Thank you for choosing the Quality inn for your lodging needs .I am sorry about you finding spiders in your room and as per your suggestion I pointed them out to the Orkin guy when he came in for his monthly service.We just changed Television providers and they were supposed to set us up with the channel guide however many calls later .no luck! I had my desk clerk go in and figure out the channels and we printed guides and put them in our directory on the desk in each room.We hope that you will be coming back in the future to use them. Never Again!!!

Location: Location was great
Check in was easy and quick....and that was the end of our positives. We called and went to the front counter that evening once back from shopping- no one answered at the front desk and upon going down stairs there was no staff to be found. The sheets on our beds were never changed from a previous stay and there was dried blood on the sheets. Not just a drop or two...quite a bit. When we did find a staff the sheets weren't changed, we were told a manager would call us as soon as possible- That still hasn't happened. We paid way too much for a dirty room with other peoples bodily fluids...and very poor unacceptable customer service. Never again :(

Pros: the desk Clerks were very nice, and location was nice.
Cons: The Manager didn't care that we were inconvienced. all she kept on saying on saying was the housekeeper has worked here for 14 years,
Location: We went to the State Fair which was about 3 miles away, and the Destiny USA Mall also about 3 miles away. A fantastic Mall to go to.
on the day we checked in the Desk clerk Jason, was a super nice Gentleman. when we went into the room my Girlfriend put her hand on top of the TV, when she took her hand off, it was FULL of dust. we let it go and she wiped it down. the room was nice. on the day before we were to check out housekeeping knocked on our door twice and we told her that we were getting ready to go out for the day. The desk clerk called our room and we said we were leaving in about 5 minutes, there was a housekeeping cart outside our room. when we came back home after being out all day, we got to our room and there was a plastic bag with towels,coffee and shampoo in it. we went into our room, the dirty towels were still on the floor, the counters and tub were still dirty, and out bed was not made and the floor not vacuumed. when we checked out the following day, we told the desk clerk and the manager about our room not being clean, she said the housekeeper said she tried to get into your room twice, I said yes she did but we weren't ready yet, she said she had a class to get to and couldn't stay. I told her about the housekeeping card being outside our room, she said oh, that wasn't her cart, that was someone else's. I said and that someone else couldn't clean our room???. that was CRAZY that another couldn't do the job for another one. they would rather leave a patrons room dirty, i'm disabled and in a power chair and I had to try to fix my bed and clean their mess by myself!!!!!!

Pros: price and location
Cons: ive been in the hotel industry for 38 years and run a hotel / school that is in the top 10 in the world staff attitude will kill you every time.
Location: state fair.
everything is what is expected and its clean. staff could use a better attitude but this is part of todays culture. but the price and location makes up for poor attitude.
