Booked a certain room since my party would have 3 people got there and they had us in a room that was to small and not what i had booked. Went to the front desk and told us they were sold out of the room i had booked. They had put us in a room the was similar to the one i had bo ok ked just a little smaller..

The microwave did not work. The coffee machine did not work, and the issue was not addressed when we mentioned it. The bed was very confortable, the sofa was not.

The room smelled like dirty, wet towels. The carpets were wet…not damp. Wet. The tub drain was plugged. The bathroom smelled very strongly of urine. The air/heat system was broken and it was 76 degrees in our room. There were glass toppers on the dresser and night stand. Something unidentifiable was spilled under the glass of the night stand, and the dresser glass was chipped on the corner. It was very sharp. When I checked out and told the woman at the front desk, she asked if we needed any coffee. I’ve never left a negative review before, but hopefully this will help others. Please stay somewhere else!

Our room was dirty prints on walls…crumbs on floors. They addressed it and we felt better. I went to get a glass in the kitchen and a glass in the cabinet had lipstick on the glass! Stephanie the manager took care of us immediately and was amazing. However the place is beat up and pretty sad

Hi Laura Patricia, thank you for staying with us. I am sorry that your room was not in an acceptable state when you entered, though I am glad that my housekeepers resolved the issue quickly. However, it should have been ready from the start. I know we already talked about the glass you found in the cabinet - I can't imagine who would use a glass and then put it back without washing it! - but I am very happy to see that you appreciated the care I put into a resolution for you. We're definitely aware that our building needs some updating, and we're working hard to make improvements day by day! I hope you'll come back again so we can host you in a more comfortable environment.

We arrived almost 2 hours after check in time and were told our room was not ready. Apparently they were out of clean towels. I asked if we could just have our room as we wanted to change and freshen up before the show we were in town for was set to begin. We were told management had told them they could not give out rooms until there were towels. We were given a “dirty” room to use so we could change and relax - difficult in a dirty room as we didn’t know who had previously been in the room or what had been used or not. We did get to change. They arranged for the shuttle to drop us off where we needed to go which was nice. Upon returning to the hotel after the show, about 1020-1030pm, I had to check in. We were given a room and off we went. Finally got to our room and set our stuff down. We were tired and just wanted to crash so we immediately started getting ready for bed. I went to use the bathroom and, when flushing, the toilet made a “clunk” noise. I tried again, same thing. Come to find out, there was no water in the tank. I called the front desk to question this. Just as I was talking to the lady, my husband was looking around and found the water to the toilet had been turned off. Immediately began filling up and overflowing - water flooded the bathroom and our room. We decided to cut our losses and drive home. Due to the hardships and issues, we were given a full refund. Staff was great. Facilities…not so much :/

I'm not quite sure why we would put you in a dirty room instead of one with no towels, as certainly one that was clean would have been the better option. I will go over this situation with my front office team so we can make better choices in the future, and I am happy to say that we have taken steps to ensure that towels are available much earlier in the day for our guests' convenience.I have forwarded your review to our engineering team to make sure that we have resolved the toilet issue in the room. Again, I apologize for the incredible inconvenience.

Arrived at 815, restaurant closes at 9 the woman refused to take my family of three because she was closing at 830. I said but it states you close at 9. She yelled at me that she had been there since 730. We then went to our room. The room was ok no frills. In the morning took my shower to discover the drain was slow, so I showered with water to my ankles and then we only had two towels for a suite with two rooms. We had to call for towels. My kiddo is going to Syracuse in the fall - we will not be staying here in the future and I don’t recommend anyone else stay here either if you want to feel refreshed in the morning after traveling the previous day for hours!!!!

Unfortunately, I hope my families bad experience was a one of a kind. The hotel room was dirty including: end tables/tables, tv stand, cups. There were quite a few wall patches (not done by a professional.) The bathroom towel rack was broken as well as the shower handle (for the water.) The worst part was the constant smell of weed that would not go away. I am not saying the smell of weed would lead to a complaint but it was so bad it impacted my daughter’s asthma. Nice staff is my only compliment.

Room had a thermostat but found out none of them worked when our room was 72 degrees and no way to cool it off. Had to move to another room and appreciated the issue could be resolved with a room change. Staff were excellent and attentive at the desk. Both rooms could use some TLC as the toilet paper holder was dangling from the wall and the room’s door barely closed. Overall the stay was average but since it’s the best location to the university we will continue to stay there.

Nice facility, only thing we lacked and missed, we really could have used a small fridge for water. If we had planned to be there longer, we would have needed a microwave. Those teo items to me should be standard Also 2 people in room but only one hand towel and 1 washclothe?

We do have a microwave accessible in our lobby 24/7, and our staff are always happy to store cold items for our guests, should they not have the option to do so themselves. The towel situation seems like an oversight, however; I apologize for the inconvenience, and I'll share that with housekeeping so we can make sure we have the appropriate number of amenities in every room at check-in!

Horrible place to stay. Had to change rooms 3 times because of cleanliness, issues with their HVAC system and had to go to desk because the cleaning staff came and took all my towels. It’s unkempt, not clean and just not a good place to stay. I expect better of Wyndham Resorts, they don’t seem to care.

The single with a queen bed was small but I opted for a double room with queen beds which was a better size. The place was cleanly and the water pressure and temperature was great. Staff was friendly we enjoyed our stay.

Checkin staff was very unhelpful and bothered by us checking in. When asking for direction to the room we were rudely told “there are signs everywhere”. Room was very poor. Toilet seat falling off all toiletries half used. Air didn’t work the room was very hot. Very disappointed

Hi Marissa, I'm sorry that your check-in experience was less than stellar! I will share your feedback with our check-in agent, as it is my goal to make sure every guest feels welcomed when they walk int the door. A toilet seat is a quick fix, which we have already completed, though I apologize that it was not caught and fixed before you arrived. Our toiletries are eco-friendly large bottles that do not get replaced until they get below a certain level, so at the halfway level, they would not be removed by our housekeeping team. I do concede that in our historic building, we do not have AC available in the winter and early spring, as we can only provide heat or AC for the whole building at once, but we are working on a solution, as temperatures have been fluctuating wildly in the past few years, making it inconvenient for our guests when we do not have both options available at once.We appreciate your honest feedback, and we hope you'll visit us again so we can provide a much better experience!

We actually have many great places to walk to, as we are right at the foot of University Hill; the downtown area, however, is better to drive to. I can see you stayed right over Daylight Savings, so our door locks may have been an hour off, deactivating your key at the wrong time. My apologies for the inconvenience!

I apologize if the parking fee was a surprise, but it is indeed listed on Expedia.com that there is a fee: "Uncovered self parking on site (USD 10 per night; includes in/out privileges)." I will also share your feedback on the electric car charger with ChargePoint, who manages the chargers on our property; unfortunately, the prices they charge and the speed of the charging stations are not controlled by the hotel. I'm sorry that these things affected your stay!

Hi Daniel, thanks for your honest feedback. Our engineering team is diligently working on painting areas that need some TLC and getting our rooms back up to snuff. I apologize if the parking fee was a surprise, but Expedia's website does advertise our parking with a fee: "Uncovered self parking on site (USD 10 per night; includes in/out privileges)." Our parking fees are actually much lower than parking garages or other hotels in the local area!

The staff was very amiable. We had to wait for a room to be ready. Our confirmation said check in at 3pm. We arrived at 3:40pm. A room wasn't ready and we were asked to wait about 15-20minutes for a room. 30 minutes later she called us to the desk and said, i have a room for you, I gave you an upgrade, no charge. I never expected that. We had dinner in the restaurant on-site. I wasn't impressed with our waitress, but I always tip, no matter what. Using UBER for the first time, went easy with the information provided by our daughters, so we could get to and from the hotel to the concert venue.

Only stayed 1 night, average hotel, was weird that it said free parking but then they charged me to park, they also charged my credit card 3 times (170$) for the $50 hold fee? I’m sure this will be reimbursed , but definitely weird and inconvenient especially for less than a 18 hour stay..

I am not sure where it says free parking on Expedia, as when I look it up, it says 10/night; I will check with our marketing managers to make sure this is the same message across the board. I also don't see 3 authorizations on your card in my system, so I'm a little baffled in that regard; however, as it has been a decent bit of time since you checked out, I am confident that all is well now. If you are still seeing any charges that shouldn't be there, please do not hesitate to call the front desk so we can investigate.

Upon arriving our toilet did not flush. We called to report to the front desk and they didn’t seem surprised but said a maintenance person would come. They arrived in good time, worked on it and said it was fixed. It was not as it would flush ever so slowly it felt like it might overflow suddenly. Then our sink stopped draining. We ended up going from the 6th floor to the lobby to go to the washroom. When checking out I notified them again and they didn’t seem surprised but offered to take off the $10 charge for one night parking. After checking my charges a few days later I found they did not in fact remove the $10 charge but appears as they may have charged a bit more.

Toilet issues are a common call in any hotel, especially when the building is older, but we are always happy to send someone up to take care of it right away. I am sorry if their work did not fix the issue completely, and I will check with my engineering staff to see if there is anything deeper going on we need to investigate. I checked your bill for you and did not see any additional charges, but I did see that the parking had not, in fact, been removed; I have issued you a credit for the parking charge after the fact to follow through on our promise!

Location is good for SU events. However, hotel is old - peeling paint, rundown feel, needs a facelift, scratchy towels, and dirty. It was noisy late into the night - slamming doors, party - feel management should have dealt with the issue. Wasn't a comfortable stay away from home.

I'm sorry that you had noisy neighbors, but my notes don't indicate that you informed our front desk; we are always happy to take action, should someone let us know they are not comfortable during their stay.

Great central location walkable to university and dome. Room was clean. Staff super friendly and attentive. Always a nice stay. Small note: Pillows need improvement or pillowcases need to fit the pillows. Construction across the street was ongoing over the weekend. Despite this- still a super stay and convenient meeting place

Check in was over 1 hour late. When we asked about a room we were told 10 minutes. 30 minutes later still no room. We had dinner reservations but still no room to get ready in. Manager finally got us an upgraded room. Thanks. They offered to buy us a drink while we waited, we asked for a rain check and got a $20’voucher for food and beverage. Unfortunately for us when we got back after dinner and w went for the drink we were told no alcohol drink for the voucher. Workers were nice but the whole situation was kind of lame.
