Nice basic hotel room, weird curtain design

Pros: Clean, good for a one-night or weekend stay
Cons: The curtain design - please make it so all the rooms have dark curtains that can be closed all the way.
Booked this hotel for a wedding in Long Island. The hotel is very clean & has got your standard amenities. The room was a little smaller than we expected, but seeing as we weren't planning on spending much time there this was a not a big deal. My only real complaint would be that the curtains in the room only closed halfway (not sure why they were designed this way...) so the morning after the wedding we wanted to sleep in but were woken up due to the sunlight directly shining into our room. I'm not sure if all the rooms have this strange curtain design or not, but as a precaution if you know you'll want to sleep in past sunrise, I'd say request a room facing west or bring an eye mask or something.

Convenient, clean, and a good deal

Pros: Breakfast included, well stocked pantry with microwave and plastic cutlery and plates. Convenient location. Off-street parking. Not too large/crowded.
Cons: The parking area in front of hotel was a bit tight. Lighting in room could be brighter/warmer.
Location: Long Island Children's Museum
We needed a hotel to stay for one night while in town visiting family. This ended up being a very good option for us. I was traveling with my older mother and three small children. I appreciated the ease in which I was able to check-in and the short walk from parking lot to front desk, to elevator, and room. The small scale of the hotel made it easy to manage. My children loved the fish tank which was exceptionally clean, and everyone enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable and well appointed with a microwave and mini fridge. My only complaint is the light in the room was very dim and cool. There were a few light sources, but even with them all on, the room felt somewhat dark.

Hometown visit

Although the room was small, it was immaculate and the bed was comfortable. There was an unfurnished terrace, which was unfortunate because it would've been nice to at least sit outside. The toiletries were lovely, even had makeup remover! Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the coffee and tea was available at all hours. Overall a good stay and courteous staff.

Convenient for our visit to Bethpage. Easy on/off highways. Room was very comfortable.

Needs improvement

Air conditioning was bad. Woke up several times bec it's too hot. We had to open the windows. Breakfast was okay.
