This place is just gorgeous. We only got to stay for one night but we have plans of staying there again very soon for a longer period of time to not only take in what the hotel has to offer but also the food, culture and atmosphere around the hotel. Our room was delicious! Very modern, very boutique. Cant wait to get back there, I give it 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up!!!!

I stayed in one of the Abercrombie rooms which was spacious and cosy at the same time. The bed was super comfy if you like a plush soft mattress. There’s a great little nespresso coffee machine and the bath is lush with great products from Triumph & Disaster. A1 Canteen is great for breakfast and if you’re heading out for dinner, make sure you visit Ester just around the corner. One of my favourite Sydney restaurants. My only negative is that the noise from the Kensington Street restaurants and bars is quite noisy. I had to get reception to send me up some earplugs, which they did so promptly. If you can, request a room on the Carlton St side or the back of the hotel.

    bathroom reveal

Hotel is centrally located and well serviced, but I do have 2 gripes - the bathroom walls are made of glass, and although there is some frosting, basically the bathroom, toilet and shower are see-through, which can be confronting if staying with your adult children. We had a room with 2 double beds which was a convenient option, however the room wasn't really big enough for 2 double beds
