They need to upgrade their mattresses / toppers. Not very comfortable. Quite hard. Breakfast was good. Especially good service from Hitomi.

We were only 2 nights before our cruise, but enjoyed our stay. However, we arrived very early morning and the desk said they would text us when our room was ready, in an effort to prioritize us. They did not text, and we only found out it was ready when we went to the desk later afternoon and asked. Our luggage was even already in there. Also, we booked the 'deluxe darling harbour view' room, but our view was the highway to the bridge, not the harbour. Very disappointing. So don't believe the photos they show for the view from that room. We were on the 6th floor.

Our stay was amazing, the staff were very attentive and accommodating, it was our wedding anniversary and they were kind enough to give a complimentary bottle of bubbles and some chocolate which were amazing. Have to call out the horizon club lounge staff on the afternoon and night shift on the 13th April they were all so friendly. Thanks for an amazing weekend stay Shangri-la Sydney team, looking forward to return soon.

It's an excellent hotel, the staff were very accommodating and allowed us a very early check-in. The room was large with excellent views. There are very steep hills between Circular Quay and the hotel, strongly recommend arriving by taxi if you have large cases.

For a 5 star hotel we had to ask for water daily, and also we got double charged for our stay and if I was the one that picked this up and still waiting for a refund a week after check out . The location was good but pretty average service for what you pay

Spent Valentines Day here and thoroughly loved EVERYTHING about this hotel & bonus was my boyfriend was impressed. :) Perfect location- close to everything! Perfectly walkable to everything…food/shops/Sydney must- see’s and STUNNING VIEWS from our panoramic windows!

Such a high level hotel that doesn’t have a lobby bar area that is functional or not working at all is a surprise. Then if you go to the 32 floor the staff is rude and our service didn’t come to check on our table for at least 30 min. I think if you pay so much for a cocktail you should have great service. The room was cleaned and very spacious. Comfortable beds and nice views. Check in was way too slow and more complicated that it should be .

Property is not very accessible to foot traffic as it is up hill and with several uphill stair. Google maps was slightly giving different directions. Hotel uses individual complimentary shampoo/conditioner etc. Hopefully they can start using refillable dispenser for their products. To be more sustainable and control plastic use. Loved the new toothbrush that were available as complimentary. In all, I do recommend hotel. Good walking to the Circular Quay - pronounced “Circular Key” it’s an Aussie thing

Next to freeway, rooms advertised as harbor view had very little harbor view until we complained, breakfast was included but it took forever to get a refill on coffee, hotel sits on a hill beyond the Quay and is quite a climb to get back to hotel from Quay on harbor

This was an amazing place to stay right in the heart of the city. Close walking distance to everything and the staff are amazing. We especially loved the help we received from the concierge. Totally recommend this place

If I could rate this a 15 out of 10, I would. Fabulous views, food, staff and rooms. I slept better than at home (wonderful bed, quiet). The Club access is worth it…views, breakfast, evening reception). Wonderful stay!
