"The Grey Fox Inn was very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. Our only issue involved a booking error. We accidentally checked in a day later than the dates that were originally booked. On our second day, we were informed that we did not actually have a reservation for that night. Because we booked through Expedia, the inn would not apply the unused night we had already paid for toward the additional night we needed. As a result, we had to pay for another night even though one prepaid night went unused. I understand that the original mistake was mine. However, since no one else was staying there and the room would have otherwise remained empty, I feel the inn could have shown some flexibility and allowed us to use the night we had already paid for. We paid for three nights but only stayed two, which is why I’m leaving a lower rating than I otherwise would have."

"The location was great and we could walk to town and restaurants . The breakfasts were wonderful. I loved the tub and bath salts. The staff was very friendly . I booked through Expedia which said all taxes and fees were included but when we got to the condo we had to pay a little over $50 extra. Wish the price had been what I had booked it. We had a room in the 400’s and the couch and outside furniture were well used. The roof was very slanted so had to be very careful not to hit our heads when we went to the bathroom or bedroom. The lobby was interesting… very 70’s decor . Had some great things and some not so great."

"Perfect spot for a vacation! Nancy is super nice and responsive. Her condo was impeccably clean. Ground floor. Perfect location. We walked to dinners nearby. Quiet place. Super comfy firm beds. We miss the leather furniture already. The WiFi was fast for our quick work check ins. We traveled to Montreal, St. Albans, Montpelier and Burlington - being in Stowe was great. Of all our rentals, this was by far the best!!! Having the two bathrooms was key when traveling with our college grad son."
