Friendly helpful staff. Clean, yet a rather compact room. Fine for 1 night. Lovely towels. Lovely shower. No shelf to put anything Breakfast - Self service rather poor. Very limited availability - poor quality bread, preserves, and cheese. No rolls, croissants, pastries. However basic cooked breakfast good and ok portion size.

Advertised as super fast Wi-Fi. This was virtually non existent. Not grant as telephone signal not very poor. They did not come to make up the room until 3pm. At that point we were back for from our day out so turned down the offer.

I know it’s down to shortage of staff, but would have been nice if when shown room they checked tv, which did not work, and the shower should have either a shelf or handle. Food was good

Great hotel just situated 1 mile from the mumbles. Room (1) very nice and quiet although the shower output was pitiful. Food surprisingly good.

Extremely loud generator next to my room that went off all night at random intervals waking me up. Terrible nights sleep overall due to this, when I complained to the woman at the desk she said she was sorry but it was needed for another room…not sure this is entirely helpful when all I needed for the hotel was a good night sleep

We had mixed feelings about our stay here. It’s a great central location, clean and the staff are helpful . But for a no frills hotel it really needs to get the basics right to justify the price they charge. Our mattress was old and uncomfortable, the pillows were lumpy and there was no soundproofing between the rooms. We did not get a good nights sleep which is all we were looking for from this hotel. The breakfast was acceptable.. With better attention to the sleeping provision, this could be a good tourist hotel .

We found this hotel accommodation a bit hit or miss. The room was spacious, but the bathroom needed a refresh as the shower doors were very flimsy and there was mould. The complimentary coffees, teas and water were only replenished occasionally, and we had to go to reception to get replacements along with requests to ask for the bedroom/bathroom bins to be emptied. The room servicing lacked consistency. The breakfasts were good, except that on Day 1 my wife was given a breakfast that she hadn’t ordered. Overall though the staff were helpful and the situation of the hotel is ideal for walking and exploring the Gower. Not sure whether I would revisit.

Very nice
Lovely little hotel in a very nice location close to the sea. Beds were a bit wiggly but clean, comfortable and great for our overnight stay. We loved the cooked breakfast.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Rooms are larger than most hotel rooms. Staff very helpful. Breakfast good. Easy walking distance to pubs, beach and shops. Would recommend for either a short break or longer stay.

The hotel is in a good location to walk into Mumbles. There is plenty of parking and the outdoor garden/drinking area looked pleasant. We found the staff very friendly and breakfast was tasty with an option to pay a supplement of £4 for items like eggs Benedict. Our room was fairly big with tea and coffee facilities and biscuits. It was generally comfy but the bed mattress was springy and worn and the shower pressure was extremely weak. We would stay there again if we visit Mumbles in the future.

We had a nice stay here. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Everywhere was clean. The breakfast was good. The rooms were compact and the bed was a small double. Tea coffee and biscuits in the room. We found the rooms noisy from the car park with early deliveries and also we could hear lots of noise from the adjoining rooms. It is in a good location for walking to the town.

First of all, the hotel is in a beautiful spot, about 15m walk away from Mumbles pier. The staff were really polite when we arrived and took us to our room. The room was nice, quite small (room 1) but was pretty nonetheless. Later on, we were both really looking forward to having a shower after a long day walking but the shower was absolutely shocking. The overhead shower head I was lucky enough to get a dribble out of it. Considering the eco attitude of the hotel, I had to shower for three times as long to get the shampoo out. The breakfast was okay, a little stingy. As much as they say it's a free breakfast, it's clearly factored in to the price of the hotel which isn't cheap! Cooked breakfast was nice but could have done more in the way of continental breakfast like pastries etc. Overall, staff were brilliant. So polite, friendly, always attentive so my review for them is 5/5. Just shower/water pressure and lacking breakfast let it down a bit.
