I had a comfy bed, a warm duvet and warm room. The hotel was close to the sea front etc. Staff on reception were friendly.

1. The check-in/ checkout were weirdly odd, 4 pm check in and 10 am checkout. Even at 3:50 pm, check in wasn't allowed. 2. Wifi only in public areas. If in room, pay extra for internet. So its never Free Wifi facility. 3. The heating in rooms was not found and the whole place is carpeted and hence smelly. 4. The hotel wants us to feel the vintage atmosphere. Instead gives us the opposite. Smelly lobbies, cracked walls and wobbly/ noisy stairways.

During breakfast, one of the staff members saw me looking for clean plates, didn't pointed me on the right direction, when i found them he said I CAN'T TAKE THOSE PLATES BECAUSE WERE I WAS SAT THERE ARE PLATES i asked if there are different plates for different guests, and he showed me a rude face and a moking smile and kept his words, taking the plates away from my hands and forcing me to go pick up others... Breakfast should end at 10am and he started to remove the food at 09:55am not allowing anyone to take anything else, now i ask is this called a buffet??? The remaining staff, reception, bar, all absolutely amazing.

Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Our only complaint was that the pillows were very hard. I would definitely recommend it and will stay there again.

Needs work.
Very tired hotel, currently have builders in. Very creaky floors around the hotel, just feels unloved. Charged for parking. If booking room with breakfast your charged £20 for breakfast, yet only £10.50 if paying at hotel.

After booking online and travelling to the hotel we were refused the booking at reception as my partner didn't have photo ID on him. Being the lead booker and all my ID relevant just his bank details with name on wasn't enough. Absolutely disgusting handling of the situation being told no you can't stay even though prepaid. No good will gesture or negotiation on the matter leaving us no where to stay in a town we are not from and had to pay double for a room elsewhere.

Place is a joke inside like the 50s. Old peeling paint a shower that litterly dribbles. Made a complaint and heard nothing promising someone will come and never did 3 times I had to ask and still nothing. Facilities are rubbish in every way. the whole hotel floor boards squeak so don't expect to sleep with people walking past your door. Avoid it's that bad

Its a ok stay you get what you pay for in a 3 star hotel the bathroom and showers could do with a up date as it takes so long to have a shower as no power and would take way to long to fill the bath .. all so the late check-in at 4 thats half your day gone most place are 2 o'clock or you can pay to get in a bit earlier.. we at to wait 3 hours befor we could get in our room ...

The property is very old, has no internet, although it says free Wi-Fi, it does not clean the rooms well, the bed is not confortable end the car park it is not free.

Rude obnoxious night member of staff checked me in. Totally unwelcoming young guy on reception. As a gold member on this site totally disappointed was treated as if I was not even welcome. Thought at first I was walking into a migrant hotel. Some very unsavoury characters around. Day staff at reception very nice however. Would never stay again. Awful hotel.
