A bit different
Room was fairly small. No dressers, chairs, hooks on wall to hang towels or clothing. Right next to main route so semis, trucks, etc woke us up wee early in mornings. Steep stairs to room so don’t carry luggage if any as there is no place to put it. Rooms are located above auto shop.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review . just a quick reminder if you stay with us again , there is a chair per room located in corner of room looking out the window .There is also luggage racks located in every room . hooks for towels or clothing is located on wall next to bathroom sink and hand towel hooks are located on wall next to sink . We are located on highway 31 , and rooms are located on second floor above store front that has catering kitchen and wine shop. Auto body shop is located next door it is not located under rooms . Also please let us know if you need help carrying luggage up the stairs we are happy to help if you ask . Hope you enjoyed our beautiful town and safe travels .

Mixed feelings.
Neighbors were loud but only for an hour or so. There were many stairs and it was difficult to get up the them with bags. Very cute room!!

Hauling bags up 2 flights of stairs was hard. Despite help, tv never worked. Room cramped. Traffic noise annoying. Seashell decor well done , if entirely surprising for the locale.

The bed was terrible, left a day early and notified the manger that we were checking out she offered another room but could not take the chance it would be better. Ask fo refund said she would if she rented the room for the night. I checked website said no vacancies, and when i asked her about refund she said it had not rented yet site said it was so just another lie. I tied numerous times to get a refund but was ignored. Stay at yoyr own peril. Do not recommend

Sorry you feel this away about our place . I offered you a different room with a firmer bed and you said that one would work great but you wanted to leave a day early due to travel plans. Offered to refund some of your money if we recieved booking that night but you did not get on site and cancel your reservation to open the room back up. Best of luck to you on your travels

Great Stay
Much better room than the one my buddies stayed in in Jackson Hole and for a fraction of the price. This is not a cookie cutter hotel room, but very clean, modern bath and sink, and a decent bed (kinda soft mattress,but not an issue for me). Only real problem for people who have bad knees is that you have to walk up a long flight of stairs to get to the room. Never met hostess, but very responsive to texts and calls. You get a code to open the door to the room. I was rushed to get out my last day and forgot to leave a nice tip, so make sure you make up for my failure. The town is an hours drive from Jackson. Put the address in your GPS, cuz the building doesn't look like a hotel

Very unusual motel, good location.
Ray’s Inn is one of kind. It’s not your typical motel. Once you book a room, you get an access code to your room and that’s it. No lobby, no clerk at the desk, heck, there is no desk. But it’s not bad at all. The room was small-ish but clean and was decorated in an Egyptian motif, very unusual but cute. The location is great. In walking distance to a restaurant, gas station, convenient store and a general store. It’s one hour from Grand Teton National park and 30 minutes from the Teton pass. I liked it, it suited my need and I was happy with it.

Just so you know if you stay with us in the future we do have an office located on the ground floor has office on the door it is open from 8-5 Monday -Friday . no one there after hours oe weekend but the Phone number you get all check in details from is available and family lives on site if you were to need anything . Really cute decor. Theresa was very responsive and helpful about finding a place for dinner and breakfast. We were not expecting so many stairs. Could use some more soundproofing.

This was a quick stop for me on my way from MT to CO. It was a beautiful area and perfect for a solo traveler to get some rest before setting out again. Check in and check out was all contact less and the room was extremely nice.

Unique alternative to Jackson Hole etc
This was an excellent lodging for its unique interior decorations, small community, proximity to both the Tetons and Targhee National Forest, and attentive staff. Because it's near the corner where Highway 26 meets Pine Creek Rd, traffic was audible at night BUT the bathroom fan is loud enough to drown out the sound, lol. This was a great place to stay as you can easily access many hiking trails and get your share of gorgeous views, without the noisy crowd. Whatever this inn may lack makes up for it in customer service! Our shower broke and was addressed/fixed the same day. We were so thankful and appreciative of that. PS we got the Rocky Mountain Suite with a flayed bear hanging right above the headboard-- something one must show off to family and friends!

The "cabin" feel of the room is great. Nice decor. Loved the floor in the bathroom (looked like a stream). However, there were like zero amenities. No fridge, no microwave, certainly no pool, and NO COFFEE in the room. Could have at least provided coffee at a minimum.

Loved the care and attentive to furnishings in my tidepool themed room. No amenities. Rooms are up a long, steep, dark stairway and no staff are on site, so think of this as a comfortable, safe, reasonably priced boarding house.

All of our rooms are self check in with keyless entry with a key pad. Staff lives right next door and are just a phone call or text away if needed . When you open the door to the bottom of stairs it does have a sensor that does kick on all the lights up the staircase , very well lite up and also has double handrail . We do our check inns this way so our guest can check in anytime that works for them . Thanks fo staying at Rays PLace Inn , safe travels

We really enjoyed our stay at Rays Place. The rooms were beautifully decorated and our kids had a live aquarium in their room. It was really unique. The rooms were clean, the heater and air worked great the shower was hot and the owner could not have been any nicer to us. There is also a coffee shop that serves food items downstairs. We would definitely stay here again.

First of all they should tell you that it's above an autoshop! Second they should tell you that the shower is in the middle of the room. Quite uncomfortable!! I had to ask my mom to go to the bathroom so i could dry off and put my pajamas on. Bathroom is so small you can barely close the door. It says there is a roll in shower, there's not but how would you even get your wheelchair up the vertical flight of stairs. I booked due to being able to get my laundry done but did t see it when i got there. When i texted and asked she told me that they didnt have laundry and i could go into the next town to the laundromat. There was supposed to be room service and a cooked to order breakfast but no idea how to get it. The microwave and refrigerator were down the hall in the middle of it shared with the other guests. Would not stay again!!

Another traveling adventure.
It would have been helpful to know that all rooms were at the top of a 28 step flight of stairs. The information said there weren’t any elevators but neglected to explain why that was important. The room was over decorated in an ocean theme to the point of leaving virtually no place to put our belongings without moving the decorations. The room was small but clean and the shower worked well and the bed was OK. The $50 per pet fee is barely pet tolerant much less friendly.

Very nice and super cute little room. Loved the free streaming. I have never slept on a memory foam mattress and now know I personally don't like them. However, my hubby slept like a rock, so to each their own. Everything else was great for me.
