The stay was quite pleasant and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
The worst part of the trip was the booking process. Our initial stay was double booked and we had to be moved to another accommodation and area. this process took almost 3h to resolve from waiting on hold, to being dsconnected before finally being booked in a new hotel from a VRBO air bnb stay that was much more affordable.
When we finally got booked we were put up in a hotel for 2 days of our 5 day trip. By the time our 2 days were up we had still not had any contact with the escalation team handling accommodations so I was forced to again call in and wait on hold only to find that the issue had not been resolved yet. I was told that because the issue had not been approved yet that I would have to again pay out of pocket for a second stay in a replacement room and after packing up our bags for the day we ended up moving back into the same hotel for the remainder of our stay and had to share a room instead of having our own rooms as initially booked and the a refund for one of the paid stays would be resolved at a later date.
It was not the situation you want to be in after driving 5h & want a place to sleep. & while the rebooking of a replacement hotel was helpful, the process of 3 hours was far too long.
The escalation team forgetting to rebook us and waiting on hold to source the remainder of our stay really left a sour taste. I would like a response back on this review please.
