My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Lockhurst Hatch, a quintessentially English farm. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was excellent and the owners are extremely helpful an accommodating. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet place in the countryside but with easy access to pubs, restaurants and shopping.
What a beautiful place to spend the night , hidden away from the hustle and bustle of city life , Gill really looks after her guest with a personal touch. A hidden gem deep in the Surrey countryside .
Lovely remote farmhouse B&B - very quiet and peaceful, and a very comfortable bed. Excellent but unobtrusive attention from Gill, the host. Recommended.
I cannot praise Lockhurst Hatch Farm too highly. Gill confirmed everything in advance by email, and was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Everything I needed was on hand and a log fire to boot, although the heating kept the whole place warm. The breakfast was scrumptious, with everything that could be asked for.
I would absolutely stay here again and totally recommend Lockhurst Hatch Farm to all looking to stay here for either business of pleasure.
The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. The cake awaiting us on the first day was very tasty and a nice touch. Breakfast was good, with choices of full English or continental. The room was comfortable and we also had the use of the breakfast room complete with TV and DVDs. The bathroom was clean but showering was a bit tricky as it was a tap attachment and no curtain. The farm has pastureland in front of the house and we were lucky to see a deer and her 2 fawns. Situated well in the countryside (down a single track lane - there were a lot in the area), it was very peaceful. Well situated for at least a couple of pubs that did good food, and close to several National Trust properties but you do need transport. We had a lovely weekend.
Fantastic B&B in a very old house in the middle of fantastic countryside but still close to London and Guildford. Our host was great too - really friendly and full of knowledge about the house and the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - highly recommended!
I hadn't realised that I would be the only guest in a kind-of annexe set-up but it was lovely to have the space and such a quiet place to rest. Gill was wonderful and friendly and even lit a fire in the lounge in the evenings. I had everything I needed and would love to go back again.
We had a great time, this location is an ideal getaway and just what my husband and I needed in the midst of our busy lives! We were warmly welcomed and the hospitality was fab.
A beautiful quirky farm house was a delight to stay in. The surroundings were perfect for walks. Shere was only 15 minutes drive away, a quaint village which was a must to visit. Most of all, Gill, our host was exceptional! The room, the breakfast and her hospitality was faultless.
Couldn't have been happier with our experience here. Super comfortable bed, access to our own living room with TV DVD player and lots of DVD's and books to read, plenty of space/room upstairs too. Really thoughtful touches included lots of information of local places to visit / eat. We woke up after our second night and there was a deer having a morning snack in the garden which my daughter was thrilled about. The owner also let our daughter feed a hand-rear lamb and chickens. Breakfast was yummy and there was a great choice of items. We all enjoyed a walk the first evening down a path by the fields. I would be happy to return here next time we're visiting this part of the world and would be happy to recommend.
A farmhouse straight out of Kipling's England. Comfortable bed and good facilities. A sensible list to pre-order breakfast which was well cooked and presented.
We stayed at this b&b for 2 nights to visit the university of Surrey. It was magical to see sheep in the hills, deer in the woods. The room was comfortable and English breakfast lovingly prepared & served in the morning.
Excellent service and Gill went the 'extra mile' .
We stayed two nights and had a lovely warm greeting from Gill and her partner. They were most helpfull and I would have no issue with recommending the farmhouse to family and friends. We hope to return there in a few months and look forward to renewing our acquaintance .
Excellent little find approximately 10 miles outside of Guildford. Not only a bedroom but a lounge area downstairs too. Morning breakfast was perfect and the slice of cake on arrival was a great touch. For regular shower users the bathroom may benefit from a wall attachment for the shower head. Great local pubs in vicinity too!
Didn't know what to expect when I booked. We were greeted by the friendly Gill who looked after us very well. They have one lovely room with a comfy four posted bed You are in your own area of the house so feels very private.
Breakfast is served downstairs as was very tasty.
Would stay again,
Fantastic B&B in a magnificent old farm house. Not only do you have your own bedroom with an en-suite but you also have your own lounge with a selection of DVDs. Excellent service and great hosts.
Made very welcome. Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful rural environment.
Breakfast amazing, and a relaxing evening spent in front of a log burner watching the DVDs provided, in our own private sitting/dining room. thank you so much Gill, we had a fabulous time. Look forward to seeing you again

Very cold
A very cold bedroom due to heating not being turned on at correct times, very small bath in the ensuite but all clean and tidy. Over priced for what you get compared to a lot of other establishments
