Booked this hotel for my in laws as they were attending a funeral in Surrey. Staff were very helpful and found a new room for them on the ground floor when they realised my mother in law struggled with stairs. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional with an excellent range of options. Would stay again.

Lovely little weekend break, great facilities clean fresh room, nice swimming pool, bonus was the restaurant. Had a lovely buffet 3 course meal for a very reasonable price. Didn't need to leave hotel. Would stay again.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful location, the setting is really lovely, very peaceful and rural, stunning surroundings and historic buildings. Excellent food too Unfortunately the pool was out of action during our stay. Other than that all very good.

We have voted this down by one star as the towers was only for exclusive use of wedding guests during our stay. Our room was a lengthy walk from reception, and was smaller than we hoped. It was quite crowded with furniture so that the small wardrobe was blocked by a chair. The hotel is very much geared towards being a conference centre and individual guests not as well catered for as we hoped. The breakfast is great, although we didn’t eat in the evening. Try the Indian restaurant near the hotel as it is amazing. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, the grounds are beautiful but ultimately it wasn’t anything special.

We’ve stayed here before but we were so disappointed this time. The room smelt like stale smoke, the shower flooded the bathroom. The carpets were dirty. It was meant to be a superior room but I’ve had better rooms in budget hotels. No idea how it’s labelled a 4-star hotel.

Absolutely fantastic, the staff are really lovely and welcoming. The hotel and grounds are first class. Food in the restaurant and bar is very well presented and delicious. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. If you're ever in Horsley this hotel is definitely worth staying in. A short walk from the hotel is the towers, a stately hall with stunning surroundings. The rates for the room is excellent value for money. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be booking another stay. So many lovely areas where you can just relax.

What a remarkable hotel. So beautiful, if you can stay in the Towers Building - do book there - I’m sure the new building is lovely too but the history and amenities in the old building are just beautiful. The daughter of Lord Byron lived there, the furnishings are lovely, we had just a mid range room - nice big room, big bathroom and views onto the wall. 🤗 Breakfast was good, usual buffet but good choices and nice staff. All round a few lovely days. We walked to a good pub called The Duke of Wellington but there is dining at the hotel too. Lots of lovely National Trust highlights in the area, Guildford has nice shopping and beautiful country side - plus the hotel has lovely grounds to walk.

Beautiful grounds but the room was tiny and bathroom very small. The bed was a double ( very small for two) very unusual these days to see a double in a hotel. The bedsode shelf practically sat on the bed and I was afraid I was going to bash my head on it. Wrapped a pillow around it . Very tight for two people. The breakfast was lovely though and hot drinks available all the time from the lobby.
