"I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!"

"This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"The lake and beach is beautiful. Our grandkids visited for 4 days and they spent hours playing around in the sand. Grand kids were able to see the numerous deer in the neighborhood. The cottage itself was well supplied. The drawback to the cottage is having the bathroom in the basement. There is no handrail on the basement steps, which makes traveling to the basement a bit of a safety issue. Overall though it is a very nice cottage in a good location"

"We wanted a quiet and off the grid week getaway. We stayed the 1st week in October. The trees had full beautiful autumn colors and there was a smell of fall in the air. We enjoyed several evening bonfires. Bonfire 🔥"

"We loved the property! The upper level was amazing for dining and hanging out. We spent lots of time on the beautiful deck and we used the awning. The pontoon was a huge hit and we fished and swam off the dock. We only used one of the fire pits, but really enjoyed it. The bunk house was used by two of us and was a lovely addition. The basement bedrooms were beautiful and all the beds were great! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. I will be booking this property again!"

They and the property caretaker were responsive and very easy to communicate with. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The barn was perfect for our needs and our stay was enjoyable. "This place is a wonderful getaway to recharge. This is our 2nd visit and we are already looking when we can come back. The cozy, clean cabin is perfectly set on a beautiful private property with trails and nestled in the corner of peaceful Spider lake. The owners are so welcoming and have thought of many special touches ( super soft towels and bedding, toiletries and welcoming cold Wisconsin beer in the fridge). We enjoyed the pontoon, pedal boat, fire pit and of course a few friendly😉 rounds...
