Couples trip to Keystone

Two couples in a 2 bedroom condo about halfway between Dillon and Keystone. Nice location as long as you have a car (we did) and want to save a little compared to the cost of staying in Keystone resort. Winter driving was less than 10 minutes to Keystone or Dillon, about 20 minutes to Frisco or A-Basin, and perhaps 30 minutes to Breck. There were some restaurants across a snowy bank; the Irish pub was so-so, plus a few others we didn't try. Condo was a little dated but still in nice condition. Cleaning crew did an "okay" job prior to our arrival. Neighbors were quiet. Master bedroom had a King plus bunkbeds, second bedroom had a queen - kind of strange... I would put the king by itself in the smaller room and put the queen in with the bunks, but this worked fine. Picking up keys from RMRM was easy - they are in the same parking lot as Sport Authority and City Market in Dillon, both places that we needed to make a stop at anyway. Pick up took less than 1 minute. All in all, a decent condo at a decent price. It was worth saving a few hundred dollars for our short trip (3 nights) in exchange for not being at a ski resort. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again, but if it was the right price I would definitely consider it.

Unclean unit w/ great view & poor customer service

Great view, nice sized room, but poor customer service. Room was not ready for us when we checked-in. Additionally, it was very dirty - stains on comforter, hair in shower drain, dog hair on couch, dirty dishes, and overall just unclean - any vacuuming that was done must have been done in haste. Fireplace was nice, but there was no firewood available onsite, despite being advertised as having access to some. The RMRM staff did not communicate well with us on a couple of different occasions; they seemed to know very little about the property they were renting out. Again, the condo had an amazing view and it was relatively quiet, but lack of cleanliness and service made it an overall disappointment.

This Management Company is Horrible!!!

I was given a room that upon getting there was ALREADY occupied! The emergency number to the management company was an after hours service that could not get a hold of the management company for almost an hour and at this point it was almost 11:00 pm! I finally made a reservation at a local hotel not knowing if I had a place to stay. Of course as I was on my way to the hotel the after hours service finally called back. I was given a room by RMRM that wasn't what I had originally reserved, agreed to take it but wanted a refund on my last minute local hotel room. The management company 24 hours later told me they would not be giving any refunds. They said that they did end up getting me a room and therefore were not responsible for any charges I had made and didn't offer anything to make this right. Seriously? This is how they treat customers? I'll not be using Rocky Mountain Resort Management ever again and would recommend to anyone that they not use them too. BTW I've been going to the Breckenridge area for over 13 years on average 3 times a year and have NEVER had a bad experience like this. Don't use them!!!

Cons: Could use some upgrades for the price, but it was cozy. and clean.
Took a post holiday weekend to ski and get away with the family.

Nice place to stay — almost like home

Pros: It's more like an apartment or suite than a hotel. It was very pleasing and comfortable.
Location: It wasn't very close to things, but the proximity to Silverthorne and Dillon was decent.
The place was very nice, but it's not a hotel. It's more like a condo/time-share. But the room and apartment was spacious, comfortable and very nice. I would definitely stay again!

Rocky Mountain Resort at Snowscape

Pros: Location was great !
Cons: Unit and Overall Resort maintenance.
Location: Great starting location for excursions to nearby Ski resorts and Rocky Mountain National Park.
Overall this resort was very disappointing and the Unit was very poorly maintained, from falling screen doors to appliances (fridge) and other amenities (BBQUE, TV Set) in really bad conditions. Bathrooms were not suitably clean. Common facilities, i.e., pool and spa area, not cleaned properly on a daily basis. Resort staff was not very helpful to solve or help to resolve complains. EXPEDIA SHOULD EXCERCISE MORE CAREFULL AND PROFESSIONALLY ADEQUATE SELECTION (UP TO THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY STANDARDS) ON SELECTING THEIR LISTED PROPERTIES. Overall this property is inadequate for families.
