Schönes Hotel in den Bergen

Posted 19-Oct-2016

perfect setting for a family to stay and play

Posted 29-Sep-2016
Pros: comfortable beds
Cons: please let us know that the refrigrator is not on when we come to the room. May leftover dinner was ruined because I simply did not know.
went to view the changing leaves- went up to Vail and the next day to Grand Lake- Silverthorne was a great point in between.

Nice clean hotel room

Posted 31-Aug-2016
The room was great and the location is perfect. I prepaid through expedia about two months in advance. As we were leaving I noticed a charge to my visa. I asked the manager on duty about it and she said they didn't receive a voucher from expedia or something to that effect. Long story short, my visa card was billed by the hotel 2 months ago. Yes I should have noticed the date, but no the manager was not helpful.

Real nice hotel

Posted 02-Aug-2016
Pros: It was very convenient to stores and restaurants
Cons: No complaints
Location: We didn't try to do anything other than have dinner, then back to our rooms to rest. Some good places to eat with a few minutes drive.
Stayed here for one night as we headed for Buena Vista. Nice and clean, no disappointments. Good restaurants nearby.

A Basic Overnight Stay

Posted 03-Jul-2016 on Hotels
Hello. This was a basic overnight stay. Overall, the room was adequate for its purpose. The room was labeled as a "King Suite", allowing for it to be priced a bit higher. I don't believe the room was truly more grand than the other rooms there but I didn't make an effort to physically inspect to compare/contrast with other rooms. The bathroom sink spigot handles were loose & a mirror top light bulb was burnt out; minor concerns & manageable. All else in the room was fine. This was a ground floor room. I was a bit disappointed by the view, which was a narrow patch of grass & shrubbery with another hotel, next door. At least two patrons from there used that side lot to smoke & chat on their cell phones, within 25 feet of my window; needed to keep my shades closed the entire stay. Noise level on floors above me was occasionally noticeable but nothing outrageous. Available hotel Wifi was unsecured. Bed was comfortable. Hotel location was convenient for needs. Thank you.

Should NOT be rated 4.1 by guests. NO way

Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom tile grungy. Hallways had a peculiar smell. Air conditioner was running rough and loud.

Eh quite expensive

Posted 27-May-2016
Silverthorne is expensive I get it. But when I book a room for over $100 I expect more than average; and that's basically what this hotel is, average. Nothing was horrible and nothing was great. Staff needs to actually be behind the desk, however, where they can help when needed.
