Small beds for the price and only some pet rooms Posted 18-Jul-2015
We booked two rooms with a lake view and we had our small dog with us. Booking on Expedia it didn't say anything about only ground floor rooms were pet rooms. Both rooms we paid extra for the lake view. When we checked in, they changed out rooms, since we only had one dog, one room was on the 6th floor and the other was on the ground floor. The front desk did reduce our $50 pet fee to make up the difference for the "lake view" room we didn't get to have. The room was nice, but the beds were only doubles. The bathroom fan was not effective, the shower steamed it up really bad and didn't clear for some time. The hotel has a restaurant and we had breakfast the next morning, but it is not included. It was fine, but it would be nice if they had some grab and go stuff instead of just complimentary coffee. The power was out for an extended time in the evening. We left to go else ware for dinner, but without a backup generator, people couldn't check in.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for the details of your response. With the information you provided we can help Expedia to improve its awesome booking platform, and apparently you found a loophole which we will try to fix. We do try to keep our pet-friendly rooms to the 1st floor including many rooms facing East with views that include Lake Dillon. Seeing how few hotels allow pets, we are glad that we were able to meet your needs as well as a better view. It is very rare that the power goes out, we apologize for the inconvenience of the countywide power outage. Thanks again for your valued business. Regards,
