Horrible experience

Posted 03-Aug-2015
Let's see: blood on the comforter, a q-tip under the sheets, no Kleenex, cleaning sponge left on bathroom counter, broken soap dispenser, and a night management staff that can't even apologize for the mistakes made!!! Would never every recommend this place.

Pros: Pool, Sauna, ease of getting in/out of drive, close shopping.
Cons: Customer service.
Location: Lake Dillon, music festival, hiking, biking.
Upon arrival, there was a large group who came in a bus. The hotel was booked full. Even though we had made a reservation in advance, they tried to put us in a basement room that smelled very strongly of mold. They even had the door propped open and a fan in the room trying to get the smell out. We refused and after 30 mins of waiting, the manager was able to get us a room on the 5th floor. That room was clean and no problems. Enjoyed the pool area and shopping nearby.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Sell-out weekends are the types of challenges we excel, and I'm glad we were able to relocate you to a room you enjoyed. We regularly clean our carpets and we use fans to dry them out. Thanks again for your response. Regards,

Cons: Hottub water was very foamy (not just a little) and thus likely dirty. Water needed to be changed.

Small beds for the price and only some pet rooms

Posted 18-Jul-2015
Pros: The pool and hot tub is nice for the kids.
Cons: Get a generator back up so when the power goes out for an extended time, the customer is not without power. People couldn't check in while the power
Location: The Frisco Adventure Park is close and is a great place to go snow tubing, XC skiing, BMX bike riding, skateboarding and other outdoor activities.
We booked two rooms with a lake view and we had our small dog with us. Booking on Expedia it didn't say anything about only ground floor rooms were pet rooms. Both rooms we paid extra for the lake view. When we checked in, they changed out rooms, since we only had one dog, one room was on the 6th floor and the other was on the ground floor. The front desk did reduce our $50 pet fee to make up the difference for the "lake view" room we didn't get to have. The room was nice, but the beds were only doubles. The bathroom fan was not effective, the shower steamed it up really bad and didn't clear for some time. The hotel has a restaurant and we had breakfast the next morning, but it is not included. It was fine, but it would be nice if they had some grab and go stuff instead of just complimentary coffee. The power was out for an extended time in the evening. We left to go else ware for dinner, but without a backup generator, people couldn't check in.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for the details of your response. With the information you provided we can help Expedia to improve its awesome booking platform, and apparently you found a loophole which we will try to fix. We do try to keep our pet-friendly rooms to the 1st floor including many rooms facing East with views that include Lake Dillon. Seeing how few hotels allow pets, we are glad that we were able to meet your needs as well as a better view. It is very rare that the power goes out, we apologize for the inconvenience of the countywide power outage. Thanks again for your valued business. Regards,

Room was small. Too hot without AC and too cold with it. Too slick in bottom of bathtub. Front desk people were nice and helpful but went to breakfast and no one showed up to wait on us.

Comfy, clean rooms with a view, but no breakfast

Posted 18-May-2015 on Hotels
My family spent one night on a quick mountain get-away. I chose the hotel specifically for the pool and game room. Both were enjoyable, but the game room games were overpriced and rather old. It is so common for hotels in this class to offer free breakfast, so I was surprised upon check-in that it didn't. The hotel restaurant was also overpriced and dirty. The one waitstaff working looked as unkempt as the floors and tables. No wonder there were only two tables occupied during what should have been a busy Saturday breakfast period. For this reason, I will not stay here again.
