Great location, not much else

Posted 09-Apr-2016
Pros: The location
Cons: Better process for breakfast and the restaurant, needs updating, and the front desk should be able to take care of and resolve issues noted above
Location: Location is perfect, you have restaurants near by, close to the and close to the hwy.
The hotel is centrally located, just off I-70 you are within 15 minutes of a copper mountain or Breckenridge which is great. It has a very nice indoor pool and two hot tubs. However, the rooms are dated and run down, the carpets definitely need replacing. I booked with included breakfast but the restaurant did not want to honor it (hotel did reimburse me for breakfast). The wifi in the room was useless, could barely get one bar, brought it up to the front desk and they gave me the number of their tech support in Atlanta for me to call and have them troubleshoot it. They ran out of towels for the pool area a couple of days in a row, the front desk would tell you they are coming but they never materialized...other than a good location, I don't have much positive to say about the hotel and staff. The check in process was another mission, I did arrive early or prior to check in time so they had no rooms available, I was told to give them a little time to clean a room...went to lunch and came back an hour or so later, still nothing available. Went sight seeing for nearly two hours, came back and it looked like they had forgotten all about me...she actually ran out to verify a room was ready. Not the kind of response I would have expected after several hours of waiting!

Great stay for the money!

Posted 15-Mar-2016
Pros: It was comfortable and clean. Loved the pool and game room and laundry.
Cons: Housekeeping thoroughness
Location: We stayed in Frisco and skied in Breckenridge.
We had a very comfortable stay here. Loved the facilities. My only complaint would be that the housekeeping was inconsistent....One night we only received 3 wash clothes with our 4 towels and another day they restocked the coffee, but not the coffee condiments. Then on the 4th day, the day we were leaving, as I went over room checking for our belongings, I lifted the bed skirt, only to find the previous over-nighters, forgotten foot powder for sweaty feet. Other than that, we had a great stay! Would visit here again but I'd check the rooms cleanliness beforehand.

Nice hotel next to ski resorts

Posted 04-Mar-2016
Pros: Nice location and ease to get to from I-70. Close to Breckenridge and our destination sleigh ride.
Cons: A little too pricey for what you get.
Location: Very good
My wife and I found the wife close to nice Frisco restaurants and bars and shopping.

Well located, would not recommend

Posted 01-Mar-2016
Pros: clean
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The hotel was relatively clean, and is very well situated giving you quick access to the convenience of Frisco as well as the ski resorts Copper, Vail, Breckenridge. The staff at the hotel was friendly enough but also seemed to be in a word, 'disinterested' in the quality of the stay. Every day that I stayed there was some unhappy customer trying to get an explanation about some billing or issue they were having with the hotel. I left the hotel after my stay and was happy with the accommodations. Unfortunately when I returned home I too had a billing issue. I found that I was charged by the hotel for my stay and they charged me for a day after I left. I called the hotel, I was told first that they didn't know if I had two rooms. They bailed on that and then pointed the finger at expedia and that they didn't get paid so they charged me the balance. I asked about the second charge and they said they got an electronic request in their system and I was a no show for a date two days after I left. I am currently fighting the charges with my credit card company. The hotel nor expedia was of much help in resolving. Its a nice hotel, however I would strongly recommend staying away from here unless you like to challenge billing departments.

Thanks for staying with us for 6 nights Dave! We are very careful to make sure billing is done correctly, so I'm sorry to hear you had an issue with that. Thank you also for your nice compliment of our accommodations.

Holiday Inn

Posted 01-Mar-2016
Pros: Close to Keystone/Breckenridge.
Cons: Hot tub/pool facilities should be cleaner.
Location: Close to restaurants in Frisco and ski mountains.
Exactly what is expected of a Holiday Inn. The room services were fine. The hot tub smelled of something other than chlorine. Overall, we just needed a place to sleep and it provided just that.

Great location!

Posted 27-Feb-2016
Great location in the mountains. Room was very basic but clean. Prices are high for being a standard hotel but during ski season they're not any higher than other 3 star hotels. If you're looking for a convenient place to crash that's close to several ski areas, then I would recommend it. (& they allow pets! love that)
