"Good Value Hotel, Close to Restaurants & Shops"
This was a decent hotel for the price.
Pros: Check-in went smoothly. All the front desk clerks we encountered were friendly, even the employees working the breakfast. The hotel was within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee, restaurants and shops - including a sporting goods store with ski/snowboard/bike rentals. We got quite a bit of snow while there, but the hotel kept the parking lot nice & clear. The wifi in the room was comparable to other hotels. The lobby was really cute with a nice fireplace, and room to relax. Breakfast was included and the employees kept it well-stocked and ensured there was always milk & water. It was very minimal, but there are two grocery stores nearby and the room had a decent refrigerator. The hotel is right next to 1-70, which our room faced, but I didn't hear a thing.
Cons: The room was a bit small. We had two queens, and one of the beds' mattresses was past its prime... no support and it really sunk in. We were only there to sleep after a day of snowboarding, so it didn't matter too much. After the first night, the room was only partially cleaned. We had new towels and the trash was emptied, but the beds weren't made. To be fair, we brought a LOT of winter sports gear which filled up the room, so we just chalked it up to the overwhelming mess. The beds were made the second day, though. Upon closer inspection, there was some buildup on the carpet in the corners.
