Good Value Hotel, Close to Restaurants & Shops

Posted 26-Jan-2016
Pros: The value and the location, and the clean parking lot despite the snow.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room
Location: Frisco is such a cute town, & we were there for Frisco Adventure Park. There were restaurants, groceries, coffee, and sporting goods near the hotel
This was a decent hotel for the price. Pros: Check-in went smoothly. All the front desk clerks we encountered were friendly, even the employees working the breakfast. The hotel was within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee, restaurants and shops - including a sporting goods store with ski/snowboard/bike rentals. We got quite a bit of snow while there, but the hotel kept the parking lot nice & clear. The wifi in the room was comparable to other hotels. The lobby was really cute with a nice fireplace, and room to relax. Breakfast was included and the employees kept it well-stocked and ensured there was always milk & water. It was very minimal, but there are two grocery stores nearby and the room had a decent refrigerator. The hotel is right next to 1-70, which our room faced, but I didn't hear a thing. Cons: The room was a bit small. We had two queens, and one of the beds' mattresses was past its prime... no support and it really sunk in. We were only there to sleep after a day of snowboarding, so it didn't matter too much. After the first night, the room was only partially cleaned. We had new towels and the trash was emptied, but the beds weren't made. To be fair, we brought a LOT of winter sports gear which filled up the room, so we just chalked it up to the overwhelming mess. The beds were made the second day, though. Upon closer inspection, there was some buildup on the carpet in the corners.

Convenient hotel near skiing

Posted 04-Jan-2016
This was an affordable hotel with a pool, hot tub and complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was pretty minimal, but fine for the kids. Hotel was clean and conveniently located. We will entertain staying here again.

Nice and clean

Posted 03-Jan-2016
Pros: Quiet, clean, great for a budget trip.
Cons: staff atitude.
Location: Everything is close by. Breckenridge and Keystone slopes are 15 minutes of driving away; stores and downtown are minutes away.
Good stay, I would go again.Everything is very close, downtown Frisco is 4 minutes of driving away, slopes are very close, and it's literally located in the middle of everything.

Good "home base" for ski trips

Posted 31-Dec-2015
Directly across the street from the bus station (free buses to ski resorts), 2 grocery stores, and quick access to the highway for driving to different mountains. The room was clean, comfortable, with nice furnishings. it isn't located near the town center, so you need to drive for 5 min to get to most shops/retaurants. But, very practical location for someone who wants the flexibility to drive to a variety of ski resorts and maximize their ski time.

Decent Basic Accomodations

Posted 11-Nov-2015
Pros: It is clean with comfortable beds. The staff was available and nice to deal with.
Location: Location is great - right off the I-70 exit and right across the street from the county transportation hub where all the ski area buses originate.
When I saw that this was Trip Adviser's top rated hotel in Frisco, I was expecting something special. What I got was the equivalent of a 2 start chain (think Quality Inn, Motel 6) that is family owned. To the hotel's credit the room was clean and the staff very pleasant. But the breakfast was basic and served on Styrofoam plates with plastic utensils. If you're looking for a clean place to stay while visiting the Breck/Copper area this is it, but, don't expect elegance.

Thru traveler stopping only for overnight. Very convenient to i70 and very quiet room (thank you!). Whole foods next door for food. Faster wifi than most hotels.
