Especially the views over Summerland Beach and the comfortable decks. My husband and I were traveling with our teen daughter to look at some colleges in Santa Barbara/Goleta, and wanted some home comforts such as a kitchen (which had everything and more than I needed), laundry, and a spacious two-floor layout (essential when traveling with a teen). The pictures accurately capture the place and it was one of the cleanest rentals that we have stayed in. Loved the ocean view. Beds were comfortable. The property manager was good about communicating and staying in touch. The only downside is there is a freeway in between the house and ocean. I could only hear the trafic. The house was very clean and welcoming. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, both had a queen bed in them. There is also a full bath and a living room with a sofa and a small tv. Coffee was really good they provided. The kitchen a counter with 2 bar stools. The kitchen is small but had no issues other than the stove runs VERY hot. 350 is more like 425\. Table is a nice size round table with 6 chairs. The ground floor had a living room with a sectional and large tv. The 3rd bedroom is on this level with a king bed(not very comfortable. Had a topper on it.) There was a nice size bathroom attached to the room and living room. Loved the make up wash cloth.There is a spiral staircase that went to the 2nd floor but if you are not comfortable going down them or have dogs you can use the stairway outside to get to the ground floor. This level also has a washer and dryer and they supply detergent and softner sheets and spot remover. Appreciated it! There is a doorway that goes to the 2nd big deck. There is a big sectional on the deck. If you look straight forward you see trees. If you look to the left you see the freeway and ocean. We felt safe and secure. Nice area.
