Great hotel with wonderful view

Posted 18-Sep-2017
Tria Hotel is in a great location that you could walk everywhere in historic side of istanbul.also the hotel is on the famous Akbiyik Street that you can reach a lots restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were really nice friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had you will need. And of course buffet Turkish breakfast on the rooftop is priceless. Which is rooftop restaurant for dinner plus they have another restaurant on the street with really good food. What else would someone want from a boutique hotel? We love it and we would prefer to stay there next time when we are in istanbul. Thank you very much Tria Hotel and all stuff

Amazing peaceful holiday.

Pros: The location and staff.
Cons: Maybe more variety on the hot food options for breakfast.
Location: Excellent location. Close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the beach.

Only good thing about this hotel is the location

Posted 19-Apr-2017
We stayed for 4 nights and the hotel was jut satisfactory. Staff were very passive, breakfast was less than average, room interior was old with broken floorboards. No nice view from the room, rooftop restaurant is a different part of the hotel and not included in the package. Very decieving images of the hotel provided. Do not stay here if you want a nice relaxing hotel at the end of a day.

A quick stop at Instanbul

Posted 29-Mar-2017 on Orbitz
Pros: Good price-quality relation.
Cons: Outside illumination of the street.
Location: There are a lot of things nearby, The Blue Mosque, The Topkapi Palace, a 20 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar.
The hotel was very comfortable and met my expectations. i traveled with a group of friends and made a quick stop at Istanbul, and this hotel met our needs.

Surprisingly bad hotel

Posted 29-Dec-2016
Pros: The only positive thing about this place is the location
Cons: Staff shows no interest in whatsoever. they ignore you until you start talking to them. If you will just stand there and wait - you can wait forever
Location: Very central; 3 minutes walk from the 2 mosques on Sultanahmet
We did not enjoy our overnight stay here. Staff shows no interest in guests whatsoever. they ignore you until you start talking to them. If you will just stand there and wait - you can wait forever. and when you do talk - they make you feel sorry for bothering them. in a four star (really?) hotel you at least expect them to wear some sort of uniform and not just sit there wearing jacket and jeans and watching movies while you try to check-in Hotel itself needs renovation; breakfast is very poor even though consists of quality ingredients No amenities in a bathroom; mold The restaurant they advertise has nothing to do with the hotel. They could at least serve breakfast there, but no, it's in the basement

The hotel room was very small and noisy, I asked the staff to change it in the second day they changed to a bigger room but noisy as well.

Definitely not 'special' :-(

Posted 22-Oct-2016
Location: Location was both good & bad. Good - near most of the main attractions e.g. Topkapi, Aya Sofia & Blue Mosque. Bad - the men hanging around.
We're do I start - Everything in the bathroom was broken. The toilet didn't flush properly, the sink and shower both leaked, the sink had a huge crack in it, by the end of your shower you were standing ankle deep in water, there was a very icky mark on the shower floor and the glass/cup was cracked/chipped. The AC in my room didn't work on my arrival and when it was fixed it didn't work using the remote control and I needed to stand on a chair to turn it on/off. The room I had was right next to the external AC units which were very LOUD. The 'view' was a wall higher than my ceiling about 3 feet away. Not the hotel's fault of course, but the lane the hotel is down is not exactly picturesque. The staff kept getting in my way at breakfast, when I went to get a cup of tea, for example, the waiter stacking cups didn't move until he was finished which was a good minute or two. The overall decor looks dated and very tired, the place needs a complete revamp.

Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Over charged

Great Location

Posted 28-Sep-2016
We stayed for 3 nights. They accepted a super late check in at 4am without any hidden fees, but the first night we were assigned at a different room at a close by restaurant ( which we found a bit weird ) but for the rest of the trip they switched us to the actual hotel, which was much better. It's perfectly located to walk everywhere to most of the attractions.
