Excellent B&B in heart of Countryside

Posted 28-Jul-2016
Spent a very pleasant night. Shared a lovely room with.my sister. We loved the décor and the beds were so comfy and clean. Enjoyed a coffee outside with the sound of a cricket match in the background. Fantastic countryside all around. Had an excellent breakfast and a good chat with Tracey who couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Would definitely return.

A hidden gem in the countryside.

Two night break. Accommodation was very close to Bury St Edmunds and was easy to find. Easily accessible to other attractions in the area.

In love with Suffolk

Posted 29-May-2016 on Hotels
We enjoyed our brief stay at the delightful Oak Farm Barn and our hosts were most attentive and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well furnished. The garden was delightful and we spent a very contented afternoon just reading and soaking up the wonderful atmosphere with just the sound of the countryside and the croon of the resident hens.

charming countryside escape

Pros: peaceful, attention to details, countryside scenery
Cons: N/A
Location: relatively remote so you need the car to go to nearest gastropub. perfect base for touring in Suffolk
Cannot fault it, perfect. In the heart of the countryside, lovely renovated barn. You will feel welcomed. Excellent cooked breakfast with local products.

Tracy and Jack are wonderful hosts. Breakfast choices of fruit were great. Very inviting retreat that we'll visit again and again.

Very comfortable a bit isolated

Very enjoyable very comfortable. Business stay but would stay for leisure also. Only issue in Winter is local pub doesn't do food so 7-8 minute drive needed to nearest pub serving food
