Definitely one of my favourite hotels. Absolutely charming. Staff were super friendly and the food was exquisite. Lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful room in a restful location. Weather was out of anyone’s control but meant we didn’t get to enjoy the gardens apart from through the windows! We were offered a complimentary upgrade on arrival.

Lovely room, but too hot. Dining room fully booked until 9.30, so we had to find another restaurant. Bar area small and fully occupied, so unable to have a pre-dinner drink.

A county filled with natural beauty, Suffolk offers everything from pretty coastal fishing villages and medieval towns to large country estates, and appeals to anyone looking to escape and enjoy some peaceful bliss for a few days. Catering to discerning travellers who are looking for personal attention and unique surroundings during their Suffolk stay, there's a string of boutique hotels to choose from in Suffolk, all offering a sublime level of luxury and extra special service.
There's no shortage of grand country houses stuffed with antiquities and curios to visit in Suffolk, but if you book into a boutique hotel you could find yourself staying in one too. Offering the highest quality Egyptian cotton bed linens, gorgeous bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and eclectic accessories, these boutique hotels are furnished to the very highest level. But that's not the only reason that they stand out from the 'crowd' of usual accommodation providers.
When you stay in a boutique hotel you can also expect a more personal service, which puts you in control. Facilities like 24-hour room service means you can eat when you please, and many offer a concierge service to help you to do and see everything you want to - handy if you're here on business and have limited free time. And because they are usually smaller than equivalent luxury conference hotels you'll find you enjoy a more intimate stay. No more fighting over the last croissant at breakfast or struggling to make yourself heard over other guests whilst you tuck into a dinner. Instead, expect small, personal dining rooms with a focus on using fresh local ingredients to produce a high quality dining experience.
Whether you're heading to Newmarket for a flutter and need somewhere to hang your best hat for the night or want to play lord and lady of the manor whilst enjoying a round of golf or a relaxing spa treatment, you'll find a good boutique hotel in Suffolk that fits the bill - in fact you might not ever want to leave!
