"Very nice B&B in a quiet location"
Spent 2 nights at this B&B with my cousin to celebrate her birthday. The owners John and Sharyn are the loveliest couple you would ever meet, nothing was too much for them. They had kindly booked a table for us at a nearby pub on the evening of our arrival and we had a lovely time at the pub , the meal was good too. Breakfast was superb, sausages were oh 'yummy' , bed was sooooo!!!! comfy and we had very good sleep the 2 nights we spent there.

"Value for money"
I was made ( and my dog) to feel very much at home and the owners were friendly and helpful. I was given a good size room, which was warm and comfortable. Kirstan bakes bread and small pastries for the guests.

"Beautiful B&B with lovely owners"
I would absolutely recommend this place. Set in a lovely location, the B&B has a great rustic charm and the room I stayed in was very comfortable and clean. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. There was a great choice of breakfast, with yoghurt, fruit, cereal as well as delicious cooked breakfast with freshly laid hens eggs. It's clear the owners pay great attention to detail to ensure a very pleasant stay.

"Fantastic Breakfast"
The host was very helpful and provided valuable suggestions for the next stage of our trip. The ensuite was very nice, and the room contained everything we could have possibly needed and more. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding.

"A comfortable and peaceful hotel"
Booked this hotel as it was walking distance from the vineyard in Framlingham where we had a tour and lunch arranged. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome and quick tour. Our room was larger than expected so lovely and airy, very clean and four poster but pillows were a little on the hard side - this is my only criticism. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. One point to note - although the address is Woodbridge it is 30 mins from Woodbridge itself. A point I had not appreciated and had booked restaurants several miles away! Worth checking out before you go. Fabulous countryside great for walking

Lovely clean, comfortable and Gretta and David made us feel very welcome. The only downside was it's a bit isolated and the local taxi was the most expensive we've ever been in. Over all though I would definitely recommend it.

"The proprietor went beyond good to make us welcome"
My husband wanted an early night & I stayed up in the lounge area watching the large TV - so I did not disturb him - it was an excellent stay. The breakfast at this B & B was better than most hotels.

Pocket Guide: Bed and Breakfast Hotels in Suffolk

With their friendly atmosphere and budget-friendly charges, bed and breakfast accommodation makes a practical option when you stay in Suffolk. Whether you're visiting Suffolk for business and prefer the cosy atmosphere of a B&B to the impersonal character of a chain hotel or you want to stay somewhere a little more unusual during your break, you'll find Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a range of town houses, inns, farms and historic buildings. You could even find yourself staying in an old stable on a large stately home estate!

The Best Bed & Breakfast in Suffolk

With the large port at Felixstowe, popular conference and leisure venues in Ipswich, quaint towns like Lowestoft and Bury St. Edmunds and charming surrounding countryside, lots of people choose to visit Suffolk. To meet this increasing demand from discerning tourists you'll find a wide range of accommodation, including B&Bs. As the name suggests, at a bed and breakfast you'll get a delicious homemade breakfast included in your stay. Many offer a traditional full-English breakfast, complete with bacon, sausages and eggs just how you like them, although healthier options, including granola, cereals and fruit are also offered. The perfect start to a day of work or leisure, if you're staying on a farm you might also be lucky enough to sample some home-grown produce with your meal. Owners of bed and breakfasts are also a mine of local information, and can give you top tips on nearby restaurants to try and enjoyable daytrips in the area.

Peaceful Bed and Breakfast Stays in Suffolk

Whilst bed and breakfast accommodation offers a more unique place to stay, you can still expect many of the comforts and facilities you'd expect from a hotel. Parking is normally included and most rooms will have tea and coffee making facilities, a private bathroom and a TV. There may also be a guests' dining room for breakfast, which as B&Bs are normally much smaller than hotels, will generally be more intimate and quieter. Often located away from major roads and high streets, you can expect a tranquil escape when you book your next Suffolk bed and breakfast stay.
