This is a hotel that needs help. If you just need a crash pad, then this will work. It's right inside the main train station, but the area is not the most convenient -- thanks to all the crazy construction with public transport. The elevator has the MOST HORRIFIC ODOR -- as if there's something decomposing. I had to hold my breath each time I used it over my 2-night stay. Dreadful. And there are a lot of drunken youngsters who use the hotel as crash pads too (on weekends) and they will make sure to keep you awake. Friendly staff, but they can't make up for the disaster that this hotel is. Just avoid this place!!!
I especially liked the public transit pass, which I think may be unique to this chain. It allows free use of all public transit in the region: bus, S-Bahn, U-Bahn.
The room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet, which might be surprising for the location. The walls have very good sound insulation.

Convenient location, quiet room, fast WIFI!
Convenient location. We had to carry our luggage some stairs to the lobby as we could not find an elevator close by from the street. Friendly staff, they gave us a bus ticket for the day. The rooms are small but fine, the washroom does not have a tub only a shower. It was cleaned, although, I saw some black mold in some tiles in the shower and I mentioned to the clerk at the Lobby. Buffet breakfast is 15 euros per person, we did not have breakfast there; lots of cafes and restaurant within walking distance in the Koenig strasse.
Excellent location for my Christmas markets visit.
The hotel is attached to the main train station. It is old and needs some updating. It was annoying having the cleaning staff repeatedly come into the room on checkout day when I was trying to relax.
Ideal hotel right inside to Stuttgart’s central train station. You have all metro lines passing right under you and all main attractions just a few steps away.
Staff were great and gave us free travel tickets during the stay. Rooms were not ready but they have us place to change and looked after luggage.
Rooms were basic bathroom was small and shower didn’t work if the room next to you were using theirs. First days dribble of cold water second very hot.
Great central location just basic
No electrical kettle. The drainage of the shower was blocked and there was flooding in the bathroom. The hotel staff said all rooms have this problem and could not give us another room. The air conditioning system has odour of molds. The towels are very old and firm.
Best location ever!! The entrance is right inside the main train station. I arrived late at night and was worried about whether the walk from the station to the hotel would be safe. But it turned out I didn't even have to go outside! And whenever I needed a snack, I could run out to the large food area in the station. There is a large shopping area right across the street. Plus the hotel is quite nice but not expensive. Every city needs a hotel like this one!! I would definitely stay here again.
It is just a ok hotel for one night. It needs update.

This is an aging facility awaiting renovation. Although my spartan room overlooked a construction site and parking lot, and one could hear sirens and honking through the window, and the decor in the strangely configured lobby was out of the 1960s, the main problem I had was the terrible wifi. I was told on check-out that one had to pay extra for fast wifi. But is it too much to ask for normally functioning wifi too much to ask in a hotel for travelers? The breakfast room was locked promptly at 10 am.
Disappointing experience. The room was not clean with dirty bed sheets and the smell of smoking. The highway is very close and causes continuous noise. We asked for extra pillows and they had none...
Arriving & departing by train this hotel was too convenient to not use. It's actually part of the old station building and signposted throughout Stuttgart hbf. A couple of restaurants opposite which were very good & close to the shopping area.
Good location and actually quiet even though it was attached to the train station and in the middle of downtown. Breakfast was great! Hotel staff helpful. Fold out couch terrible. It's dumb that the bathroom door is glass because when you get up in the middle of the night the light disturbs the other person. Also, why do they have steps up to the lobby when you are carrying heavy bags?
Cannot say how nice it is after a day of travel to walk off the train and directly into the hotel! Hotel staff was so knowledgeable about city events, hours of the museums, and where to eat. Loved how the metro entrance is just outside their front door!
Base for travel in the area - very handily attached to the Hauptbahnhof - so ideal location.
Room good - shower a little small but fine. Beds quite small / firm, but good night's sleep achieved and very little noise.
A good, functional , reliable standard of mid-range hotel

Convenient to railway station, easily accessible. Older building, clean though.
Not a clean hotel. Found my bed dirty and shower all wet from previous guest.
Located inside the train station, but left early AM where the people that gather in the area are not safe.
First time visit in Stuttgart and stay this hotel and is right in the central main train station. Location is good right at the center of Stuttgart and can easily access to all nearby shopping center and branded name stop. Breakfast from the hotel is not bad but everyday food is the same and cost Euro 15 per breakfast, this price is still reasonable. The only problem is the housekeeping because it is not auto daily routine because have to put a cleaning sign at our room door or inform the reception or housekeepers. Overall this hotel is still fine and will comeback again if I visit Stuttgart again.

A simple hotel for a good night sleep to catch an
The hotel is located at the train station which is under construction. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was ok but a bit old and compared with the room small. Service was fine. I did not try the breakfast as I found the room too gloomy. It is a simple solution if you need to catch an early train and teh hotel is well connected to the rest of the city.
IntercityHotel Stuttgart, Perfect and Great, We arrived for a 2 night stay to visit the Stuttgart, Market. The hotel is located atop the train station, and is in a perfect central location.

Nice location and friendly staff
This hotel looks very dated and tired. The carpet, furniture and fittings and the bathrooms require major refurbishment and upgrades. Having said that, its location is very convenient and the staff are efficient and friendly. Did not have breakfast there as at 30 Euros it seems to be very costly. As a vegetarian except for cereals bread juice and coffee I wont be having much of a choice there.
