Main guest restroom in the lobby area had no paper towels, and no soap. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk, they acknowledged that they knew about it and couldn’t do anything about it because they didn’t have access to the cabinet that stores the soap and paper towels. Instead of just going out to get soap for the guest, also lends the question if the staff are washing their hands if there’s no soap for the public? Then when we got to our room, there was also no soap to wash your hands, I went to call down to the front desk to ask for soap to delivered to our room and the phone jack was broken so we had no use of the phone to contact the front desk. When we went directly to the front desk to ask, they told us to use the shampoo instead. Breakfast Hours said until 930 on the weekend we came down at 9:10 and they were closing up everything and had brought all the food in.

The major pros : location - steps from Allentown gay village . Free outdoor parking . Charming hotel reminds me of being in an old fashioned movie. If you want modern etc don’t book here but if you’re after charm go for it. This hotel is kind of like an old apartment building but it’s a place to sleep and recoup.
