I really enjoyed my stay at the Kingsmill - I only stayed 1 night the rooms and the food were great - the staff friendly and helpful - will be coming back for a longer stay

Great interaction with staff, beautiful property, spacious room with nice appointments. Kettle a bit awkward to use (cord attached to entire tray within a drawer, but not long enough to reach outlet), and room felt like it could use a few fixes (loose tile in bathroom, poor drainage of shower leading to a bit of a smell, and warping/water damage to table and chair). Overall fantastic stay, and very luxurious. (We stayed in a garden room)

Primarily our fault for choosing this time of year, but the amount of unsupervised kids and lack of quiet areas spoiled the experience.

"Room" for improvement!
Our room (Room 4) was a good size, warm, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The only thing that let it down was the ensuite shower room. The window sealant in the ensuite was black with thick mould. It needs replacing immediately. Also, the toilet roll holder needs to be moved as it presses into ones right arm whilst sitting on the throne. It also needs some shelves to hold personal toiletries, etc. On a positive note, we have stayed here twice previously with no cause for any criticism. We will return for sure but will be asking for a room change if it falls short in its usual standards.

Getting a bit tired of being treated like a lower class guest for travelling with our dog. Why advertise as being dog friendly where there is only one tired and cold area available to sit and relax with our dog? The dog friendly rooms are poorly maintained and in need of a good clean. Our bathrobes were dirty before we even put them on. Our tea, coffee and cups were never refreshed during our 4 day stay. The shower floor had brown sludge between the tiles. Just a bit sad and disappointing for being supposedly the finest hotel in Inverness.

Unfortunately not all are as well behaved as your dog and that is why we do not allow them in lounge & restaurant. Also we have other guests that have allergy and or fear of dogs. This is our 3rd visit to the hotel and we were extremely disappointed and definitely our worst yet, shower pressure was terrible and it felt like the room we were given was wasn’t the standard we had previously stayed in and paid same amount all times

Room was spacious but poorly lit. There were two bedside lamps, a desk lamp and a standard lamp. Of the four, only two were working. One bedside lamp had a broken rocker switch and the bulb holder on the standard lamp was broken and was loose and electrically unsafe. Faults were reported to reception. The venue has good parking. The dinner menu was adequate, but the number of guests seeking seats made finding a table difficult. Breakfast offered a fair range of choices. The area around the hotel is reasonably quiet but there was a good deal of machinery (fans?) humming away in the courtyard outside my room window during the night.
