The lobby, restaurant, and rooms were nice, but the hallways were somewhat creepy. Other than that, it was a lovely stay. The only reason I deducted a star was because we had the do not disturb sign on our door, and yet housekeeping knocked at 8:00 AM asking if we wanted service.
Hotel was well appointed and in an excellent location central to the Christmas markets and restaurants. The staff was accommodating and helpful with our transportation needs. Highly recommend.
AC wasn’t working so they asked us to open the windows in the room. However, it was loud on the streets below.

The location of the hotel is perfect, the restaurant is delicious, the staff were all great.... But the maintenance of the rooms is shaky. Things like painting and tilework were done by pretty unskilled tradespeople.
The staff was professional and very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near the Christmas markets and in a beautiful area, the hotel couldn’t have been a better choice for us.
We also loved that they have their own little Christmas market right outside the doors.
Décor is lovely. We particularly loved the large stork mobile hanging in the lobby!

Not a 5 nor 4 star hotel
But convenient, the breakfast is very pricey for what they are offering!
The Sofitel was in a safe quiet area of Strasbourg but convenient to everything. The Cathedral was a 10 minute walk as were all the shopping and restaurants.
The breakfast was the best. The staff was very helpful.

Wouldn’t call it 5 star. Dust everywhere in the room, if you move any piece of furniture it was thick with dust. Charges for absolutely everything! Got charged even after check out which I have no idea what for because I didn’t use anything so beware! Also 100 € deposit for every night you stay is ridiculous, I stay in hotels 2-3 times the prices back home and never have to pay these prices. Adjust your price to cover everything otherwise it just feels dishonest. Reception staff were very helpful and about the only real positive, would say an average overall rating, nothing flash.

The hotel was very good service and staff were very friendly. The hotel room was very big and area was very clean. Buffet had amazing food and check in was easy and quick!! Love this hotel😊

This was an amazing hotel. The concierge was awesome in helping us plan our day out. The staff in the dining areas and front desk were very helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely room, if a bit on the small side. Wish they’d had double beds available though. Staff was very friendly and the hotel is beautiful and in a very convenient spot.
Great location, very clean, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff!! Definitely would stay here again.

A somewhat tired property where the rooms need renovating. The before mentioned is more than compensated by the attentiveness of all staff members. Rarely did I have such a courteous and friendly welcome at a hotel. Merci!
Property is in an excellent location and has a bar and restaurant. Check-in is smooth. Guest Relations is excellent and they make sure you have an excellent stay.

I have stayed in Strasbourg many times and I always try new hotels. Any other 3 star hotel in Strasbourg is better if not the same. No need to spend extra money to stay here.

The reception and concierge staff was very helpfull.
The breakfast was wery good.
location was good. you can go everywhere in old city by walking easily.

Great location brilliant property, food, drinks and staff. Police security was very strict when driving in so make sure if your going for the Christmas markets that you have the right paperwork from the hotel. The hotel worked hard to get this right and the police, although strict where very friendly.
