What to Expect at Louvre Hotels

Business guests can finish off last-minute work in spacious meeting rooms using free WiFi. Or, after a long day or meetings, head to the bar for a glass of Alsatian wine. If you’re still in the mood for culture after a day of sightseeing, the hotels’ 24-hour front desks make it easy to arrange tour or theatre tickets, whatever the time. Some hotels also feature fitness centres.

Rooms have plenty of comfortable touches, including premium bedding. LCD TVs offer in-room entertainment and guests can make a drink with coffee makers. A number of hotels also offer free bottled water.

Exploring Central Strasbourg

Central Strasbourg is only a short tram ride from most of the city’s neighbourhoods and suburbs. The UNESCO-listed Grande île island is in the heart of the city, and the site of many of Strasbourg’s main attractions and landmarks. Strasbourg Cathedral and Rohan Palace are popular with visitors and are within walking distance from each other. On the island’s easternmost point, Petite France is the oldest part of Strasbourg. Adding to the charm of the area, many of its popular taverns and restaurants are in 16th- and 17th-century buildings.

Just north of Grande île, the large Orangerie Park is Strasbourg’s oldest park. It now features a boating lake and vintage car track for children. The park’s petting zoo and stork sanctuary are also very popular with families.
