As this is an historic hotel situated in the middle of the town it provides a convenient and comfortable place to explore Obernai. If you need on site parking book early as spaces are limited.

Quaint and clean
Fun and eccentric little attic place that was very roomy! Air conditioning was welcome after being in the heat outside. Didn’t take breakfast there, but it looked good. We had a place to store our bikes, which was great! Good value for the money - would stay again!

overall is good, only few items are not function well, e.g. kettle button doesn't work, need manual holding the boiling button to boil water, and shower head has leakage.

Such a magical hotel in a quaint town, The staff was very helpful including providing gluten free breakfast options and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Great Hotel!
Beautiful hotel in next to the old synagogue and the old city wall. We were able to walk everywhere and the hotel people were wonderful. No air conditioning, but it didn’t matter to us.

Friendly, helpful personnel, especially our check-in gentleman. He gave us room options and helpful parking advice. This historical hotel is gorgeous and has been beautifully updated. Breakfast was a food ie's dream. We couldn't have been more pleased . Room was spacious and comfortable bedding/linens.

A charming hotel off the main tourist villages.
A charming hotel. Very well located as well. The city parking lot is right around the corner, so you don't have to pay for parking. You can walk to all the restaurants and the tourist center. And the breakfast is quite nice. Way more stuff than you regular croissants and coffee.

Great location at one end of a small cute town.
Great location. Free parking behind the hotel. Very good breakfast. No elevator to our third floor room (deuxieme etage). No air conditioning but open window and a good fan made it cool enough at night.

Very nice hotel right in the center of Obernai. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you travel by car you can find a huge free parking nearby which is a plus. Great !

The hotel is well located in the center. Ample parking close by. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Toims are nice with good bathroom.

Price is really right.
Wonderful hotel in the oldtown. Comfy rooms, excellent service and great staff. Works well for a family looking for a few beds. Very good wifi and a nice continental breakfast. Close by shopping and restaurants. Only downside is no air conditioning. On a hot day, the room is uncomfortable. Once you get the windows open at night, it cools down, and the staff provided extra fans. If we are in the area again, will definitely go back.

Quaint, great location, large rooms but....
This is a cute hotel, built out of the former governors mansion. Facilities and rooms are quaint yet generously sized and you are right near a free parking lot and town with lots of great restaurants (including one with 2 Michelin stars!!!!) However, be aware if you go in the summer there is no Air Conditioning (it was how on the 2nd floor, even with the windows open). Also, I did not appreciate the antiquated plumbing which led to the shower alternating between extremely hot and freezing cold.

Great little place to stay with friendly staff. There is ample free parking very close to the hotel if you are going by car. There are very good restaurants nearby. They provide breakfast at one extra cost but the menu is limited.

Temporary parking beside hotel made unloading of luggage easy. Free parking only minutes away. Room small and rather cramped but clean and fully equipped with all necessities. Suggest a stronger room fan for 002 room. Quiet although beside Main Street. Staff very helpful efficient and friendly.

Quaint hotel in a walled town outside Strasbourg.
Chose the village of Obernai, 10K outside Strasbourg, as a quiet alternative to the city, and opted for two nights at Le Gouverneur, with a reasonable off-season rate. The gated entrance just inside the ramparts was a short distance from 24-hr free parking. Check-in was at a modern reception and breakfast area, and rooms overlook an Elizabethan-like central courtyard. My spacious second floor room had both a double and single bed, 15-inch wide original wood plank floors, and a nicely updated bathroom. The town has narrow streets, many historic sights, and good food options.

Beautiful gem in Alsace
Perfect location in the middle of Obernai for visiting Alsace. Very convenient public parking at 200 meters from the hotel. Easy commute to Strassbourg with P&R at a very low price. Only caveat, I was unable to get good connection with their Wi-Fi but they did gave me access to their own computers to get on line.

All you need to discover Alsace.
Good location in the middle of the city. We use it as a base to visit all Alsace. Very convenient public parking within 200 meters from Hotel. Hotel is an old building full of charm and the flowers are enriching the inside court.

Comfortable rooms, easy parking, nice breakfast. Great hotel around a central courtyard with tables for reading or having a coffee. Rooms was comfortable and the bathroom nicely separated to keep noise to a minimum. We'd definitely stay here again.
