Walking distance to all Strasbourg attractions and the train station. Super friendly staff, gave my parents good dining advice and let them hang out in the lobby, despite them not staying at the hotel. Nice boulangerie next door and a small halal supermarket a few doors down the street. Easy walking access to Petite France, Christmas Markets and the Cathedral. Rooms have a good sized queen bed, a bathroom with walk in shower and a heated towel rack. A carton of water, tea and coffee is provided. Television is a relatively new Samsung and has chromecast capability, excellent if you don't speak French.

Overall, my stay was short. This hotel was enough for what we needed. The staff was fine and polite. The hotel itself, in the lobby, had a very weird smell that I didnt like and the hallway smelled the same too. Just slightly musty. The bathroom was also too small for me and the sink drained way too slowly. Other than those things, the hotel was fine and convenient.

Great location. Rooms were a decent size however in need of paint touch ups. The towels were not changed daily however there was no notification to allow you to opt in to reuse them and choose not to have replaced. No tissues provided .

We'd Stay There Again
First off, ClapClap's breakfast is excellent! It is well worth signing up for it. Second, the room we reserved was, as advertised, small. There was maybe 1' of floor space on either side of the bed. But the bed was very comfortable. The room quiet. Third, the shower was excellent. The bathroom was smallish, but workable. Fourth, during our stay housekeeping refreshed our room. We were disappointed that the glasses we used the day before were simply turned over (as if clean) but they were still quite dirty from our use the day before. Fifth, the staff was very nice throughout our stay! Sixth, the location was good. Not far from the train station. The neighborhood is lively at night, but again, our room was quiet.

Refurbished Hotel close to Shops and Restaurants.. Friendly helpful staff.. Nice full breakfast.. Quirky upgrade to the refurbishment which we enjoyed.. Manager moved rooms for us and shouted drinks to compensate when air con failed. Nice gesture..

This hotel is in a great location but it is in a pedestrian only road. The need to inform their guests that they can drive up to the door to drop of their luggage before parking your car! We had to get instruction from an employee of a neighbourhood restaurant. We had difficulty getting towels and breakfast at 14 Euros was expensive for what you got! What was great was the staff were friendly & tried to accomodate the 6 rooms that were book. Most of us it was the coolest rooms except for #502 which was spewing heat on the newly married couple! It was decent & a great location, I would probably stay there again.

Daytime staff was really friendly, cleaning staff was really friendly, but AC didn’t work and was very difficult to sleep in the heat. Evening staff simply said “yeah, it doesn’t work well”. Wee asked for a fan, he said no. We asked where to park, he said it’s full so we had to carry our luggage from blocks away.

Clap clap was wonderful! Big rooms, very convenient location (right next to the train station and also close to petit Paris). The staff was lovely and very accommodating - we had an early train to catch and they made us breakfast to go! Would definitely stay here again.

We really liked this hotel. the location is very convenient. the staff was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge of different languages (in particular English) and their good-natured atmosphere. The room was quite comfortable and convenient to stay. the only thing missing was the kitchen inside the room (but this is not critical), everything else was superb. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I liked that it was convient to everything in downtown Strasbourg. The thing that I did not like was that you could not drive up to the properly. There was no directions to the parking which you had to drive up on the side walk to get to the door.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. There are multi-lingual speakers at the front desk, so communication was never an issue. They do have a bag storage room if you need it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Some of the rooms are located on floors that require the use of some stairs in order to reach them. Our 1st room had very steep stairs up to the bedrooms, so make sure that you ask about this if you think that you may have difficulty climbing up or down the stairs. We really enjoyed our stay here, and will gladly stay here again in the future!

The hotel is located at a walkable distance from the train station and the city centre. It's spacious, staff is nice and the rooms are big & clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Les chambres fort bruyantes côté rue malgré le double vitrage. Des rénovations "joints fenêtres seraient les bienvenus". Malgré le changement de chambre ,c'est cette fois le velux qui laissait passer la lumière du jour trop tôt. Le double rideau ne sert pas à grand chose. Il faut installer un rideau occultant sur le VELUX
