I liked the fact that they take dogs! The Inn was clean, felt fresh & tidy. The staff were friendly. The dog-walking area was excellent. The only snag was that I found it difficult to find the allocated parking spot for the Inn in the dark. Myself, and others, parked in the general area and then enquired at the Reception desk, which then registered our cars for free parking - but it was a concern when I arrived. Otherwise - I shall staya there again with pleasure.

I booked this room online about 6pm from the previous services and was checked in and the kettle was on the boil barely 30 minutes later! Friendly, efficient receptionist. Massive groundfloor bedroom close to the front door so perfect when travelling with a dog. They've even got a jar of dog treats in the lobby! Loved the artwork in the room.

Staff was very polite, but the overall cleanliness of the Rom, sheets and bathroom was terrible. Didn’t even risked to take a shower and slept dressed as the sheets were stained. I will never stay there again.

The room (29) absolutely smelt of days old stale pee … it hit you as soon as you walked through the door it was unbearable ( and I live on a farm !) However service was good and I was transferred to another room , this did have an old dog bowl under the bed with bits of old meat in it , but rather than complain to the poor lady on reception I just chucked it in the bin …. Cleaning needs seriously looking at . Service was good from the lady on reception

Simply perfect after a long drive
We couldn't fault the welcome and check-in. The room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and an efficient shower. No noise from inside or out, so we slept very well. Will definitely book again if we're in the area.

Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a very stale smell, it was very unpleasant. There were no sockets next to the bed where you could conveniently put your things on charge. The toilet seat was either ill fitted or has broken somewhere because it did not fit as it should. These are the only negatives. The room itself was spacious enough with 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed that was enough for my party of 3. Everything else was ok for the overnight stay it was.There's a mini shopping centre right opposite this hotel which was very convenient for getting McD in the morning.

I did not appreciate the smokers or vapers smoking under my window in room 41. Also, my smoke alarm activated at around 23:30 last night for no reason-I checked outside my room for other alarms but there were none.

Thank you for your feedback. Smokers and vapers are asked and reminded to step away from the building entrance. This can be hard to police and relies on compliance and good will which is not always evident.The fire alarm was activated by a guest in another room, this was resolved quickly and the alarm silenced.

Rooms was perfect for our needs. Number 38 allowed for our little one to have his own room off the main room so he could go to bed and we could still have lights on etc. Well located for our trip from north to south and the services attaches had all we needed. great for a one night stop over
