"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great! The bedroom was clean and tidy. The windows had all been opened beforehand to air out the house. Towels were provided for each person which was handy as my girls forgot theirs. The beds were quite hard but...

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"The property is in a mid terrace house in a dilapidated part of town. It is either an attic or loft conversion with creaking wooden floor boards. To access the property, there is a steep and narrow winding stair case . The bathroom is en-suite but there was no working shower . Top Stoke Minster Hotel Reviews

Best Western Stoke on Trent City Centre Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Had a amazing few nights there Bed was really comfy Had best nights sleep ever Staff were helpful Clean room"

Ensuite5 Woodhouse private bath 2kitchen

10/10 Excellent

"The room was reasonably clean which was great. Decent location and for the price I really can’t complain about anything huge The only slight points I would say are the bed was quite lumpy and I could feel the springs, and the toilet roll is very much budget so if you’re used to Andrex probably pack your own The property itself isn’t fabulously maintained or brand new, but there are 2 kitchens in working order and cooking facilities. It’s a room in a shared house essentially. I slept through the night every time though and the en suite was a decent size. The temperature dropped whilst I was away and I couldn’t figure out how to turn the heating on so some instructions would have been appreciated, but the weather has been fluctuating recently so I’m not too mad about it One parking space was available in front of the property and there is sometimes parking across the street as well, but it is very limited so if you need a parking space that might be an issue. I was fine but only managed to park in front of the property on my last night. The whole road is double yellow lines other than people’s driveways Overall for the price I paid I’m incredibly happy with my stay :)"

North Stafford Britannia

8/10 Good

"Room was spacious comfy had most things you need. Very close to kings hall which we went to."

Ensuite4 Woodhouse private bath 2kitchen

10/10 Excellent

"Facilities too old and not like what was displayed during booking."

Clean Budget Accommodation

8/10 Good

"This is advertised as Basic and Clean and that describes it well. I booked it because it had three bedrooms and was only five minutes walk from the relative we were all visiting. It was very conveniently located. There were two good sized bedrooms upstairs and a slightly smaller one downstairs. Also downstairs was a long table in a corridor with several chairs, then along from that a good kitchen, a toilet and separate bathroom with shower and basin. All the beds were a good size and comfortable. There was hand soap but no other toiletries which was fine as it was advertised as basic. The living room had a comfortable sofa, chair and large TV. It was a very good property and not too expensive."
