Here is the one thing you absolutely need to know about this hotel: it has not one, but TWO clubs in it AND a restaurant/bar. It is hopping on the weekends, and if you are a clubber that doesn't come home until the wee hours of the morning, this won't be a problem. As someone who was not visiting with the intention to party, I was up all night listening to the bass of the club downstairs rock my room. And when I say rock, I mean ROCK. The room was vibrating.
Aside from this, the property is located in a very great area and central to everything. We never needed to take public transportation while we were here, and were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. The hotel itself is in a beautiful, historic building. There are plenty of restaurants walking distance from the hotel (Glashuset was AMAZING and you should make a reservation).
The room we were given was ridiculously small, even by European standards. Part of the space was unusable because the room was a shaped like a triangle and a desk took up all of the “pointy part”. We were literally crawling over each other and around our luggage the entire time. Ice, who worked the front desk was rude and had major attitude, but everyone else was great! We had a bit of a moment with him our first day.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again unless I’m coming to party with my girlfriends.
