The distance to Custer is close for supplies, etc., but you feel like you're out in the woods and really getting away from the city. Morning coffee listening to wildlife, evenings by the fire, and the little lake was actually full of perch and bass. Only thing I will mention is if you are sensitive to ROOSTERS, bring earplugs."

We had a group of 12 and there were enough beds and bathrooms for all of us to be comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, and Hot Springs. We would recommend!"
