Located in Stirling, Stirling Court Hotel is in a rural location and connected to the convention centre. Stirling Castle and National Wallace Monument are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Blair Drummond Safari Park and Phoenix Falconry are also worth visiting. Our guests appreciate the hotel's quiet location.
The location was great. The service of the restaurant was super. But, the reception was really putting me off. Booked one night to attend Uni. conference with my Teen. daughter. After a fully day conference we were exhausted. Check-in, the receptionist found the booking and asking for the payment. Explained we paid in full online already, somehow the receptionist was not quite happy since that point. Got the key, walked all the way to the room (quite far), the key didn’t work. Walked all the way back with luggage, the receptionist just remade the key from scratch. Finally got into the room, found out it was a so called ‘double bed’ room instead ‘2 single beds’ I booked. My daughter was very tried and couldn’t be bothered to go back to the lobby again. We decided to just unpack. Wrong decision! The bed was tiny. Even my teen. daughter and I, we barley can fit in. The quilt was small as well. The wall was thin, we can hear every step the upper floor was making. A very rough night we had for sure, the room was overheating, can hear every noise upper floor was making, tiny bed with small quilt, had to be very careful won’t fall off the bed all night though. By the way, did I mention we had to walk back to the reception / lobby 2 times that night again? (1) they forgot show us the wifi access. (2) the reception told us the wrong restaurant opening time, even the restaurant is about 10 meters from the reception desk.
