The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for self-catering; private chef can be arrange with advanced notice. Make the most of the outdoor space, large grass lawn for the children to enjoy; lower garden with picnic tables by the loch and those views! This is "Gravelfoyle" with hundreds of kilometers of trails for walking, hiking and cycling meandering through the park. Understandable that this was the birthplace of tourism in Scotland. Poets, writers and film crews have all featured this scenic area including Sir Walter Scott who drew inspiration from the beauty of the area to write the poem "The Lady of The Lake". The area was beautiful and the lodge was outstanding. The kitchen was fully equipped and a great gathering spot. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and some even braved a dip in the loch.
