Third visit to a hotel that continues to impress. Location gorgeous and peaceful. Staff amazing. Rooms incredible.. Bathrooms have the wow factor and more. Food is delicious. What's not to love? Truly worth a visit.
We have stayed at this hotel several times but this time we were very disappointed we paid for a deluxe room but there was nothing deluxe about it, this hotel is tired and is need of an upgrade .
Although we had one complaint it was acted on and sorted out quickly and efficiently. Our castle room for our second anniversary was just perfect. Could have had more tea, coffee etc but on the whole very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff were brilliant.
The overall experience at this hotel was very good. It got off to a rocky start when the room wasn't prepared as booked, with a King bed and two singles. However the staff rectified the problem immediately and gave a complimentary drink to make up for the hiccup. The rest of the stay was problem ...
Older hotel that is being modernized - and they are doing a good job. The ability to take a warm bath, needed warm bath was nice...so was the king bed.
