"Pleasant stay overall"
Used this hotel as a base for a 2 week visit to the UK. Overall, it felt like our home away from home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only drawback was the wi-fi was truly hit and miss. It was out completely for an entire weekend. And out, off and on, many other times. There is a lobby computer that I was able to use, but it was not behaving quite right either. When I notified the front desk of the lobby computer issues, they were helpful by printing my boarding passes from their computer. I was relying on the internet to make our day to day travel plans, so we often went to a nearby restaurant to use wi-fi to research our points of interest. As Americans, our phone did not work in the UK, so our wi-fi connections were very important to us. If they can get their wi-fi connections upgraded or fixed, I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Few problems but staff sorted with ease"
The first room I was given, I did not feel safe, as it was not part of the main hotel. Had to go outside, the room had 2 massive patio doors, nice but not for me as by myself. I was then given another room in the hotel. The tv packed up, so the manager came and gave me another tv, no problem. The rooms could be given abit of a facelift. They are ok, just need abit of a freshen up.

"Not quite a "house" but quite lovely."
I was not expecting such a big facility when we arrived. I wasnt aware of how big the hotel was nor did I know of the many rentable lodges that are part of the Cameron House. This place was quite a wedding destination (at least two while we were there) and felt a bit like a conference center. While I was looking for something a bit more cozy (more like a B&B) it is a beautiful hotel located on a lovely spot right on the lake. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortablle. The pool, hot tub, and sauna facilities were really amazing (and free) and the reason I would highly recommend this hotel. My only major complaint is that I did not think they had enough dining options for the number of people housed in the vicinity. Without reservations we would not have been able to eat either dinner on the premises. They could use a more family oriented dinner option with burgers, quick service, and a more casual atmosphere.

"Close to M9 but no noise"
A different place to stop but really close to the Kelpies which are a must see as is the Falkirk Wheel. Hotel has loads of parking and the Garden annex is nicely refurbished in an elegant style. Meals at the separate Cook's restaurant across the car park serves great food reasonably priced. All in all a good place to stay and don't be put off by tales of Grangemouth.
