Alison, the warmest, sweetest B and B owner we met in our 8 day stay in Scotland keeps a lovely place carefully and lovingly decorated. She had wonderful suggestions for places to go and eat and could not have been more charming!

"Close to the Kelpies"
This hotel is very close to the motorway, yet the rooms were very quiet. Breakfast featured both a continental buffet, and hot dishes prepared fresh to order. A restaurant on the property is available for lunch and evening meals. Great location to use as a base for exploring the area (Falkirk, Sterling, Edinburgh).

We visited Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and the historic town of Stirling, which all have lovely walking paths. We also rented a car to drive around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs on a day trip of hiking and sightseeing.

"Amazing stay in a real castle!!!"
We booked this hotel because I wanted to treat my wife to a stay in a real castle. Broomhall is the real thing. Driving up to the castle, it was breathtaking. Just like many of the castles we had already seen on our journey through Scotland. When we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful young lady who showed us to our spacious room. Spacious is not the word, it was HUGE. King size bed, 2 couches, monster windows with a view of the William Wallace Monument, stone fireplace, a claw foot bathtub, and a lot more. We decided to eat dinner in Stirling because it is so close but we returned to Broomhall for a few drinks in the lounge. Not only did we have drinks with a view, we were able to sit and talk with the hotel staff about castle history and local news. Brilliant stay. Our favorite hotel during our 2 week stay in the UK and Ireland.
