Well done Kari and staff! We were so pleased with our stay and overall experience here that we hope to visit again and want to tell everybody how great your home is!
Rooms are quite basic, cleanliness reasonable, staff on arrival quite dry, breakfast excellent as were the breakfast staff, a lot of street noise during the night but no fault of the hotel, location is good and would stay again.
Good value for money hotel, and good food. Limited car parking space, so if hotel is hosting a conference or wedding the day you arrive, parking could prove a problem. Staff were extremely helpful with this problem however.
Balloch is an interesting area. Saturday night, every pub on the strip has live music. It is somewhat hopping to say the least. It reminds me a little bit of a New Jersey costal town. The restaurant and hotel attached to the pub are not bad. I didn't go out back to the night club, but it has loud ...
Very welcoming staff. Very comfortable beds / pillows. Only drawback to rooms was lack of anywhere to hand clothes - not an issue for us as just one night stay. Didn't need an evening meal but would certainly go back and try their menu. Breakfast was excellent!
We found this as an affordable night stay in a beautiful city. We were traveling to Edinburgh and had an extra night. Nice surrounding towns.
Scotland’s city of Stirling is one of the country’s most impressive historical destinations, and holds the title of “heritage capital” due to its many important local monument and buildings. Visiting this city means you can walk the halls of Stirling Castle, which played a major role in the Wars of Scottish Independence, see the National Wallace Monument, which stands in honour of the iconic Scotsman William Wallace, and tour the Church of the Holy Rude, founded during the reign of David I in 1129.
Stay in Stirling and Falkirk for easy access to some of the country’s most scenic landscapes, such as Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, which lies just a short trip west of the city and makes a perfect destination for those interested in trekking, horseback riding, boating, golfing, and other sports.
