Close to football ground

Posted 02-Apr-2018
Pros: Shower was good..
Cons: Carpet replaced..proper double bed
Location: Shows were there & restruants near & football stadium...only bad thing around the corner 300 yards is a sawage plant
The bed being 2 joined together disappointing for a double bed...carpet was dirty I've never seen a carpet so bad

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: "Free" breakfast was marginal.
Location: It's in a shopping zone and isn't central to downtown Stirling, except if you have a car.
Good location, close to town w/ easy access (1.5 miles) to Stirling University.

Nice stay and friendly staff

Lovely hotel and biggggggg bed and comfy. Catered well for my wife who is disabled and located us on ground floor. Only downside was the hot selection at breakfast. Only scrambled eggs available which is great if you like them. No tomatoes or mushrooms. Just bacon and sausage. However, the cold selection was great. Would highly recommend.

Room and facilities very good. Hotel a bit away from city centre but easy taxi ride. Were a little slow refilling buffet at breakfast but brought to table save us standing and was very busy.

Central location near main road routes.

Pros: Everything. Good quality for the price.
Cons: Possibly the size of the Double beds! Fly the Union Jack flag as well as the Company Flag, the Saltire and the E.U. which we will soon leave,
Location: Convenient and central to many Historical sites and major Scottish cities.
Easily found via satnav but well signed on the roads as well. Warm and friendly check in which was soon completed. Room more than adequate for a short stay (we were there 2 nights) but l think if I were on a longer stay I would prefer a bigger bed! That is the only negative I could say about the room, the bed was a “small” Double. The Shower Room facilities were ideal as was the storage facilities. There was even tea and coffee makings, ironing board and iron available. Breakfast was more than adequate and a good choice of everything hot or cold. Staff were extremely friendly and genuine with it! We would certainly recommend this Hotel and look forward to our next stay.
