"Nice hotel with great staff"
The hotel staff are great. It's a nice hotel, nice bathroom, large bedrooms and has tea& coffee making facilities. The tea and biscuits weren't replaced 1/5 days. I would recommend this hotel, it's set in lovely surroundings and nothing is too much bother for the staff. Would definitely stay there again.

"Cosy hotel with character amidst nice countryside "
Very welcoming staff. Very comfortable beds / pillows. Only drawback to rooms was lack of anywhere to hand clothes - not an issue for us as just one night stay. Didn't need an evening meal but would certainly go back and try their menu. Breakfast was excellent!

"Central to trip locations"
We booked this hotel because it was central to sights we wanted to see. Sterling Castle, The Kelpies, The Falkirk Wheel and The Wallace Monument. We had 2 fire alarms while we were there, one of which required us to stand out in the drizzle in rather cool weather.

The hotel bedroom walls and windows could do with upgrading as could the bathroom suite but overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly particularly the restaurant staff.

"Very good value "
This was a great mid priced stay close to Stirling centre. The dinner was very good with a wide choice and staff were very helpful. A machine noise outside the room was disturbing at midnight and at 7am but no idea what is was and hotel staff were puzzled too. One other point was hotel not well signposted on way out of Stirling and I passed it a couple of times.
