Broken dresser drawer front that came off in your hand. No soap dish & there was a sign saying they'd charge for missing items so we tried to call the office.... No dial tone on the phone (it was plugged in & had electricity) & couldn't call the office without using our cell phone. Very loud Mexican music on the 2nd floor balcony that we could hear with our door closed from when we arrived at 3pm till about 5pm then it was turned off. We didn't complain but it was loud! Good thing - didn't see any bugs on the floor or in the corners. Would bypass this hotel next time.

Where do I start? It IS quiet and the lady that checked us in was very nice…..but that’s where it ends. The bathroom had mold, rust, missing tile, missing grout. The next morning - the cleaning lady pounded on the door at 8:45am asking to clean the room. How incredibly rude. Especially for people working nights. No one should be knocking to clean occupied rooms until guests check out. You might as well pay half the price and stay at the cheapest hotel in town. I can’t imagine much of a difference

My room was not clean. There looked to be blood stains all over the carpet and I felt unsafe, because there was a gap in the door. I did not stay. I left and got another hotel.

The staff were all very nice and helpful. The condition of the room was fair. Breakfast is basically coffee. Didn’t use the pool. I’d definitely pay the extra $50 a night for better accommodations next time.

Property is sufficient for a last minute one night stay. Personnel were polite and courteous. Breakfast was merely cereal, oatmeal or small pastries. Beds were clean, but the rest of the room was either damaged, dirty, and unsafe.

First thing, went to wash my hands and the handle fell off the faucet. Left to pickup my daughter and came back to the room to hang out and relax. A couple of her friends stopped by and we ordered pizza and sat around and talked for hours. The entertainment of the night was who had the highest roach body count. They were all over the place. Mostly seemed to be coming from behind the headboards and photos. The nightstand drawer had some dead ones and a lot of droppings in it. The smoke detector was missing as well. The door and safety lock were broken. Beds were really bad. You can feel the springs through the sheets. Our room, 101, had a bonus room that was empty. No furniture or bed but lots of massive stains on the floor. I’ve stayed in some shady places before because I see hotels as just a place to lay your head, not a home. This one tops the list. This is the 3rd hotel out of the 6 I’ve stayed in there that had a huge roach problem. Most of the towns rooms are being used by construction workers so it’s slim pickings. I had 3 rooms booked for May graduation at this one that I’m now going to cancel. If you want a clean, bug free room in Stephevenville you will need to shell out $160-$210 a night or go to the next town over.

I was in town working and our project took longer than projected so we had to stay the night. We found the Super 8 and I’m thankful we did. We had the pleasure of meeting Olivia at the front desk and she was amazing. She is the definition of customer service. Our rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future

Cockroaches everywhere
After registering & getting room card we went to our room As soon as we walked in their was a funny smell to the room & the carpet look dirty & gummy- no way would I walk on it without shoes on. Then my husband noticed a movement on the wall & he saw cockroaches moving on the bed. We went to the front desk to cancel our room & to get refund. As we spoke to the girl at the front desk their was another cockroach that ran across the desk & the clerk just took a rolled up newspaper & killed it like it was no big deal. Worse room ever!!!!

1-The TV in our room did not work the first night. The clerk came and tried to fix it but was not successful. The 2nd day they moved a good TV into the room and it worked fine.2- The sink faucet is shot--little water comes out,or it sprays all over the back. 3-The floor was dirty. The bottoms of our feet got black.4- The shower valves are shot-- you can not read how to use them.
