This condo is conveniently situated on the ground floor of Dulany at the Gondola, a complex that sits alongside the Steamboat base area in the midst of great restaurants and gear shops. You'll have unbeatable access to the resort's 18 ski lifts, 169 trails, and 2,965 acres of skiable terrain in winter, as well as fantastic hiking and mountain biking come summer. The free shuttle bus even picks up on the corner in front of the building, allowing you quick and free access to the Yampa River Core Trail (a 7.5-mile, multi-use trail that runs through Steamboat Springs) and shops, restaurants, and hot springs downtown. As you step inside, you'll come into an entry hall with an upholstered bench, hooks, and cubbies to assist in the removal and storage of your outdoor gear. Walking down the hall will bring you into an open living space that's full of charm, character, and light, offering natural plank ceilings, large picture windows, and a wood-burning fireplace encased in a brick hearth. Prepare hearty appetizers and warm drinks in the fully appointed kitchen, find ample space to enjoy them at the three-person breakfast bar and the six-person dining table, or step outside onto the patio if the afternoon sun is shining. Also great - we had three adult groups, so the three-bedroom three-bath layout was really convenient - with no one sleeping in the living room. Two of the bedrooms have only single beds - we had no kids and would have preferred queen beds all around - but we knew what we were getting and were still happy with it. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc - we cooked a couple full dinners and had what we needed. There are minimal condiments, spices, foil, plastic wrap, etc so bring (or buy) your own if you want it. We would be happy to stay here again. ##### Charles W. Very close to hot tub which is also a plus. Unit was very clean with lots of towels provided. The downside is the age of the unit. The kitchen is very dated and the appliances need to be updated. In addition, there was no cooking oil or spices in the kitchen. It makes it hard if you are flying into Steamboat and spending a lot of money on the condo and you have to go out to buy salt and pepper! Easy access to hot tubs, practically right out the front door, for apres ski relaxation. The property itself is long overdue for some updates. In particular, the mattresses on the beds are in need of an update/upgrade. The master bedroom, oddly was either a full or queen size, and the old spring style mattress. No support whatsoever. Very short walk to the slopes and literally a few steps to the hot tub, grill and Firepit. The cons were the unit could stand to be updated. The carpet needs replacing and the appliances are from the early 80’s (but they all worked) pots and pans need replaced and the closets were all full of tons of old bedding so no space to put luggage etc… That being said, there were also extra usable pillows, sheets which was nice. Plenty of towels from Vacasa so no need with our party of six to request more. The Vacasa shuttle was very convenient right outside of the door. We also enjoyed the many games provided. We would recommend 104 and Dulany. It would be perfect after it’s updated. One more thing, the front desk was very helpful holding our luggage until check in time. ##### Dennis D. ---
