Very nice lobby and friendly staff to greet us. I had checked in online, as prompted to do by a text from the hotel, but still had to go through the entire check-in process. Not sure the point of the online check-in.
My hotels.com booking was for a room with a sofa sleeper. I think this was an error by that site. Our room did not have a sofa sleeper, and a look at their website suggests that none of their standard rooms do. We made do, but it was awkward.
I don’t think our bed was fully made. There was what appeared to be a queen-sized mattress cover on the king bed, and the rest of the bedding was folded down. There was no sheet or anything over that cover, which popped off the corners any time we moved on the bed. We pulled the top sheet up over it so that we had something between us and the mattress when that happened. But then the rest of the blankets didn’t reach the top of our bodies, so we had to pull everything apart to be covered. It was not comfortable.
The bathroom was very clean. They have large bottles of toiletries attached to the walls, which was nice. But they have a very strong scent, so beware if you are sensitive. The bathtub floor was very very slick.
Checkout was also online, which was nice.
Lots of morning noise in the hallway.
