"We were overall impressed with Ten Bits Ranch and its beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It’s truly a hidden gem—emphasis on hidden! Just be prepared: the property is set about 2.5 miles down a very rough gravel road. We were in a Honda Accord, and let’s just say… it was not a match made in heaven. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend driving something with a little more grit—like a 4WD or a vehicle better suited for rocky terrain.That said, once we arrived, we found it to be quiet, serene, and a lovely little getaway. The AC worked great (which is a big win in the desert!), and the rustic stone shower added a unique charm—just make sure to give the cold water dial a firm turn unless you want a surprise sauna experience like I had! The bathroom sink was slow to drain, but thankfully there was Draino under the sink—points for being prepared, host!We came for a quick anniversary overnight with hopes of stargazing, but the clouds had other plans. Not a single star in sight—but we still soaked in the magic of the area. It was our first time in Big Bend/Terlingua, and now we’re hooked. This trip was a tease, and we’ll definitely be back for more! I wish I could upload a video because I took video, not pictures of the inside. "

"A place like this the view and location are what makes or break one. The location is right in the ghost town! Food and entertainment are right there! The view is unbelievable! I have never seen better. The room was great. Everything we needed! Outdoor kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of places to sit to taking in all of the beauty. The patio was comfortable and also had great sitting options. "

"Pleasantly surprised! Unbelievable property unique would definitely recommend to all. Bring your own food stock up at Lowe’s in alpine. Enjoyed grilling out lunch on the road. Breakfast was sufficient. "
