Nice property - it was under construction on the third floor, (which wasn't noted when I booked). However, they did offer to change rooms to the 2nd floor if I wanted as the hotel wasn't too booked (which made question why they put us on the floor that's under construction to begin with) but alas - she also promised it wouldn't be too much noise ... and it wasn't - PS: the construction started at 9am on the weekend - which is plenty of time for us to get up and ready for the day.
The gym is cute but very small - the lobby was very nice and the bar/restaurant area also seemed nice - there always seemed to be an event booked however, whenever we tried to visit on the weekend.
There was no creamer in the room for coffee so that was frustrating and the train next to the hotel was a surprise - but it didn't distract too much to be honest. - only heard it a few times.
There is the Hudson River next to the hotel (between the hotel and the train tracks) and it's nice to look at the river - which is very slight at this point of the river - but still very pretty.
This hotel has potential and perhaps, when the renovations are complete, they will be there. Good luck!
